  1. Chavez About Castro from first hand discussion (web) The late United Farm Workers leader Cesar Chavez was trained by the famous Chicago agitator Saul Alinsky, so was Obama. He worked closely with Communist Party USA members like Bert Corona and was closely affiliated to the US’ largest Marxist organization, Democratic Socialists of America. Chavez marched under the famous slogan “Si se puede!” – later translated into English to become Obama’s 2008 campaign slogan “Yes we can!” The Chavez movement was, in many ways the forerunner of the Obama movement. Overlapping personnel and constituent organizations, identical radical ideology. Obama joined several leaders of the Alinsky/communist/socialist movement, including Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Obama Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and DSA icon Dolores Huerta, in a ceremony in Keene, California, where Chavez’s former home was officially designated a national monument. Castro When I was about 9 years old I remember asking my dad about Castro. I asked, "Is Castro a good guy or bad?" Dad said...he couldn't tell!! This was about 1955. We were living in Louisiana at the time. Dad was in the Army and stationed there. Cuba was fairly close and in the news a lot. The Cubans were asking the same question. Ike was president. This past July 4th, we had the pleasure of sharing a summer barbecue with a refugee from Cuba. Our dinner conversation was starkly different. This refugee came to the United States as a young boy in the early 1960's. His family was more fortunate than most, as they were able to bring a suitcase and $100 when they fled Castro's newly formed revolutionary paradise. Our dinner consisted of all-American fare: hamburgers, potato salad, fresh ears of sweet corn and watermelon. This is a menu shared with family and friends nationwide, while celebrating the birth of our beloved America, on the Fourth of July. We began with a simple discussion about our country, and the direction it has taken since Barack Obama came to power. We shared the usual complaints about the sour economy and liberal social engineering emanating from the rulers in Washington. But then he said it. The sentence flowed naturally from our refugee guest. I assume it was unplanned. But it carried the weight of a freight train. "You know, when Castro took power, none of us knew he was a Communist." We sat stunned. He continued, "Yes, we all thought he was a patriot, a nationalist. Before the revolution he didn't sound like a radical." The comparison at this point was easy, and I interjected, "You mean just like Barack Obama?" He responded, "Yes, just like Barack Obama." He continued, "We were all shocked as the government just continued to grab more power. First they said the revolution is over, so please turn in your guns. We all complied. "I also remember my uncle saying,'Castro will only nationalize some of the big industries. He will never come and take our family hardware store!!' But that is exactly what happened. Castro started with the sugar mills and the large industries, but they eventually came and knocked on the door of our family hardware store. My family had run this store for generations. They said,'We now own the hardware store, you work for us. And that four-bedroom home you own...it is now our property too. You have to move yourself and the five children into those two rooms of the house, because others are moving in here with you.' " The lesson learned from this discussion is a lesson most Americans refuse to hear. Political leaders can lie about their agenda and once in office, they can take totally unexpected turns. If you had asked us three years ago if we thought General Motors or Chrysler would be nationalized, we would have never believed it. We could never contemplate a country where the rule of law, the most fundamental building block of a just society...would be evaporating, just like it did in Castro's Cuba in the early 1960's. But the news of injustice keeps increasing: *Black Panthers are not charged with wrong-doing by the U.S. *Department of Justice...because their crimes are against whites. *The bond holders of GM are stripped of their assets, without being given due process by the government. Car Dealerships are closed without due process. *Governmental leaders are bribed in full daylight...only to have all investigation of the crimes stifled...by the Attorney General. *The U.S. borders are over-run with crime and illegal activity, and the leaders in D.C. act as if it is more important to protect the lawbreakers, while the innocent are killed. *When local communities attempt to enforce the law, they are ridiculed and threatened as racists and bigots. They are sued by the very administration entrusted with enforcing the law. Goes on..... 2. 1-Its over 2000 pages, she ment what she said she never read it, and diddnt expect anyone else to read it and find all the earmarks and lies. She diddnt say that in a sense like you suggest. 2-your right she wasn't waiting on flexibility she and her crooks were trying to hail mary that bitch through before anyone realize how bad it really is. 3-what does this have to do with this? What I was referring to was she was trying to pull the wool over the publics eyes by hiding the bill as it was shoved through, like he is doing by waiting to get reelected before he finishes his deal with Russia. Nice PA with the SAT comment, but I'm sure since you are in line with the mods here you will be ok. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,
  3. If what Obama wants to do is such a good idea then why isnt he talking about it on tv, putting the GOP on blast for blocking such a good idea he has, and harming the safety of the country? In stead he is putting it off to the side so he can try to get reelected to take part in unpopular trade with Russia.... Either way if its a good thing, he is putting his second term in front of the security of the Country. If what he wants is a bad thing he is hiding it from us. Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Why are you still arguing, don't you agree both sides are just full of shit about this and everyone should move on, or are you going to still be here defending your hero about this when even the media will have moved on? 5. He talked about the founding of the country, the 2001 attacks, and the recent attacks, then 2 paragraphs later made that vague statement. Never did he say the embassy attack was a terrorist attack in the same sentence. So both sides will never get a true reading on this, and who gives a shit anyways its all a bunch of huff on word play. Who cares if he DID or DIDDNT call it an attack, what does it matter? 6. The full transcript. 10:43 A.M. EDT THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. Every day, all across the world, American diplomats and civilians work tirelessly to advance the interests and values of our nation. Often, they are away from their families. Sometimes, they brave great danger. Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi. Among those killed was our Ambassador, Chris Stevens, as well as Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith. We are still notifying the families of the others who were killed. And today, the American people stand united in holding the families of the four Americans in our thoughts and in our prayers. The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We're working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I've also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people. Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts. Already, many Libyans have joined us in doing so, and this attack will not break the bonds between the United States and Libya. Libyan security personnel fought back against the attackers alongside Americans. Libyans helped some of our diplomats find safety, and they carried Ambassador Stevens’s body to the hospital, where we tragically learned that he had died. It's especially tragic that Chris Stevens died in Benghazi because it is a city that he helped to save. At the height of the Libyan revolution, Chris led our diplomatic post in Benghazi. With characteristic skill, courage, and resolve, he built partnerships with Libyan revolutionaries, and helped them as they planned to build a new Libya. When the Qaddafi regime came to an end, Chris was there to serve as our ambassador to the new Libya, and he worked tirelessly to support this young democracy, and I think both Secretary Clinton and I relied deeply on his knowledge of the situation on the ground there. He was a role model to all who worked with him and to the young diplomats who aspire to walk in his footsteps. Along with his colleagues, Chris died in a country that is still striving to emerge from the recent experience of war. Today, the loss of these four Americans is fresh, but our memories of them linger on. I have no doubt that their legacy will live on through the work that they did far from our shores and in the hearts of those who love them back home. Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks. We mourned with the families who were lost on that day. I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed. And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi. As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe. No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done. But we also know that the lives these Americans led stand in stark contrast to those of their attackers. These four Americans stood up for freedom and human dignity. They should give every American great pride in the country that they served, and the hope that our flag represents to people around the globe who also yearn to live in freedom and with dignity. We grieve with their families, but let us carry on their memory, and let us continue their work of seeking a stronger America and a better world for all of our children. Thank you. May God bless the memory of those we lost and may God bless the United States of America. END 10:48 A.M. EDT Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. 14. Fully automatic weapons were restricted in 1934! Required a tax and registration. It was further restricted. For civilian possession, all machineguns must have been manufactured and registered with the ATF prior to May 19, 1986 to be transferable between citizens. There are not very many transferable fully auto weapons available to civilians these days, and when you do they will cost you $5,000-$30,000. Plus the tax, and a guarantee that the govmt is watching you and can at anytime come to your house and demand you prove that you still have the gun in your possession. Your term assault weapons is only a cosmetic term. The definition in the ban included a bayonet lug(they have those on muskets!), pistol grips, high cap magazines, flash suppressors, etc. these things do not amount to anything in terms of their lethality! An old Remington 742 30-06 deer rifle is more deadly than most of your black "assault rifles". A trained operator is what makes an assault weapon what it is, just like a trained sniper is what makes a snipers rifle. A pistol and a rifle are just that! I bet 99% of the guns used in crimes today in the us are first stolen from legal gun owners/illegally obtained, and second, are just ordinary guns you can get any day of the week at Walmart for the last 40 years! 15. The way they define "terror" these days in the law, simply calling a bomb threat to a school is terror an act of terror. Blowing the place up would seem to me to be a terror attack. Louisiana law on it §40.1. Terrorizing A. Terrorizing is the intentional communication of information that the commission of a crime of violence is imminent or in progress or that a circumstance dangerous to human life exists or is about to exist, with the intent of causing members of the general public to be in sustained fear for their safety; or causing evacuation of a building, a public structure, or a facility of transportation; or causing other serious disruption to thegeneral public. 20. This post should be deleted, it started off full of lies, and continued with garbage. You can perform CPR on a trauma code I personally have been on 2 scenes with saves that I know of. One was a motorcycle accident where the person rear ended a stopped truck, and was found under the vehicle, you could not even tell he still had a face, every time we bagged him blood sputtered every where. The other was a 30 foot fall to concrete on his head, upon intubation his pallet had been broken and there was dura matter inside his mouth. It can be successfully done, so if I'm in that position please don't listen to this guy until the er doc says stop! Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone.
