Once. Had gall bladder pain that was going nonstop for weeks (...come to find out, it was due to prescription medicine). In the meantime, nothing made it go away, except for the acupuncture. Took about 30 minutes, and the pain was gone. Pretty unbelievable. We are all engines of karma

And, he's a surprisingly good cook, also. I personally never learned how to cook, so I'm starting to learn from him (...after he kicks my ass in Golden Eye Rogue Agent on his video box). We are all engines of karma -
Stella Artois (...just came back from my local). Now, I'm only doing that because they replaced the Becks with Beck's Octoberfest. As a rule (at the local), I'm a Becks guy. Beck's Octoberfest is just too sweet. Ride it for more than 6 hours or so and it gets to you. Becks doesn't do that to me. Stella bites me after 10-12 hours. We are all engines of karma

LMAO I have 3 kids: 10 (boy), 7 (girl), 5 (girl). Just joined a rock climbing gym that recently opened up in town. My wife and I took the 3-hour belay class on Thursday. She passed the belay test on Friday. Tomorrow, I'll go down and take the belay test. Then, we can belay for my 7 year old, who has already done 6 different routes on 40 foot walls (...she's going to be trouble). My 5 year old does 20 with no sweat, then decides she's done. My 10 year old is into cooking and politics. We are all engines of karma -

Don't know why this is so. They have a very different attitude towards guns in Westchester county. I don't believe the rest of New York State is as bad. We are all engines of karma

He got "Busted!"...Info on what to expect?

At a minimum, if convicted, he'll have to register as a sex offender. If he's a professional, well, he's not anymore. We are all engines of karma -
Absolutely agreed. Here in Westchester County, New York (just north of NYC), if someone breaks into my home I must first try to escape. Only if I can't escape can I shoot them. I'm not allowed to use buckshot, or my Dad's 9MM. Getting a pistol permit here is very difficult. If someone does indeed break into my house, they're not going to escape. I'm still trying to figure out what the cops are going to do to me. It should help that there's only going to be one witness We are all engines of karma

A rock climbing "gym" just opened up down the street from where I live. Took my 7 year old daughter there last weekend. She's already climbing the 40 foot wall like a monkey. My wife and I are taking the belay class tomorrow night. One of the staff belayed for me on the 20 foot wall. When I actually let go of the wall to come back down, that was one of the scariest 1/2 seconds I've had in a long time. Felt good when the rope worked

Many years ago I went through a phase where I left my leg straps loose, thinking it would help me arch better. The head of my penis went under the leg strap on one opening. Felt it as it was happening during opening, and could do nothing about it. Couldn't even lift myself out of the situation under canopy (pulling up on the risers). Ever since then, I make sure my leg straps are tight. And, as I'm cinching the leg straps, I do a Japanese squat to make sure everything is out of the way. We are all engines of karma

I'm seeing Social Distortion this coming Saturday night at the new Nokia theater in Times Square. Paying $40/person, 4 people in the crew. SD rocks! We are all engines of karma

While I'm far from a canopy expert, you could consider front risering. Be careful though. If the winds are too strong they could push the front of your canopy down, basically collapsing it. We are all engines of karma

> >But why would someone want to pay $10,000/year >> in insurancewhen they can pay $0 and get the >> same thing? This happens only in a perfect world. No one lives in a perfect world. >Exactly - many will not want to. But some mortgage >companies require you to, so that may be a reason. Of >course, with enough money you don't need a mortgage >either. The reason you pay "mortgage insurance", which ends (only if you ask) when you own 20% equity in your house based upon your cost basis at time of purchase, is required because a non-trivial number of people in the US default on their mortgage. FNMA, GNMA, FHLMC are required by law to cover the defaults, to promote liquidity in the Mortgage Backed Securities market place. We are all engines of karma

Insurance products, and security derivative products, (which are _insurance_ products) need to be priced in a current market. How much do I charge now? Companies that price insurance products have very smart, imaginative, people who can see more than 1, 2, ..., etc. paths. For each path, there's alot of math to do if you try and come up with a reasonable cost basis 20 years out in the future (future value). Even worse, you then need to ratio that value back to today (present value). For each path, "insurance pricers" come up with a current dollar value. To say it another way, its output - input for each path, then they convert everything to oranges and compare the size. It's far from precise. We are all engines of karma
