  1. Well done! Even though I don't golf, I understand that's a major milestone to many, many people. We are all engines of karma
  2. LOL!!! We are all engines of karma
  3. Very nice!!! They don't give those away, so you must have earned it. We are all engines of karma
  4. Well said. From now on, I spell it as yall. BTW - I've always known the grammatical reasons for the y'all, but where I grew up in the deep south _everyone_ spelled it ya'll. Seeing someone spell it as y'all just indicates to me they didn't grow up in the deep south. We are all engines of karma
  5. Good morning to you, too. BTW - the correct spelling is ya'll We are all engines of karma
  6. Wow. It's becoming pretty clear that Shiites and Sunnis really dislike one another. Sounds like they can't even live with themselves, much less us. We are all engines of karma
  7. My reply to that is always "That's the only kind of airplane you should get on. Bad airplanes will kill you". I was recently talking to an AFF JM at the Ranch who's an ex-airplane mechanic (Tomcats, A6s). He said the same thing, but more along the lines "An airplane is a collection of spare parts going in the same direction at the same time". Made me laugh We are all engines of karma
  8. Wow. Sounds like whatever cost benefit analysis was done didn't include things outside of the company. Very sad this is happening. We are all engines of karma
  9. So I've gone from a wanna-be Rambo to a racist? Can't say I understand what you referring to, but I'll consider it progress none the less. We are all engines of karma
  10. Where did you hear this? I searched Snopes using the phrase "Colin Powell My Lai" and nothing was returned. We are all engines of karma
  11. That it is. We are all engines of karma
  12. Good point. We are all engines of karma
  13. Not completely. If it was entirely about the US economy we'd have the oil by now. Since we don't, there must be more to it. We are all engines of karma
  14. Just watched the video. That's was clearly difficult. You honored her really well. We are all engines of karma
  15. So, the essence of this debate, IMO, is - How Do You Defend Yourself and Family? How would you do that Bill? Granted, we all agree use the tennis shoe approach first, if possible (i.e, RUN). But, if it ever comes to that point where you can't because your 5 year old daughter is there, and the shit is hitting the fan, what would YOU do? We are all engines of karma
  16. They own ALOT of US long bonds. ALOT. If they dumped them all at the same time (which would hurt them), it would hurt us more with respect to interest rates in our country. That's my understanding. We are all engines of karma
  17. Buy them all TVs and let them watch Bay Watch. And, the rest of the day will be taken up with moderate people discussing relavent issues in their language. They've already loudly proclaimed they can't live along side of us. Why not take them at their word? Give the people without guns in their hands TVs. It'll work. We are all engines of karma
  18. Guys with guns in their hands rarely buy those guns, in these types of scenarios. Kill the guys that buy the guns. That's my point. The guys buying the guns are also our enemies. We are all engines of karma
  19. If you're going to take that step in life, you must practice. No other way around it. I didn't even realize Kallend could ride a horse, much less shoot a gun We are all engines of karma
  20. We're past Al Qaeda. They're establishing a salient in the middle east. Personally, I think following the money is much more effective. The rest of them, buy 'em TVs, power generators, and let them experience the wonders of Bay Watch. Everybody loves Bay Watch! We are all engines of karma
  21. Never forget. We kicked ya'lls asses out of our country. And you haven't tried again (...well, not since 1812). We are all engines of karma
  22. Not me You're a troll Deny every thing. Then, make counter accusations. We are all engines of karma
  23. The US political establishment decided to establish a salient in the middle east. Not the military. Shineski told Rumsfeld what it would take, and Rumsfeld dismissed him. Rumsfeld is an arrogant idiot, and Cheney is the prince of darkness. Bush relied on those people, instead of Colin Powell. The Rumsfeld doctrine has been proven to be a abject failure. The reason the political establishment decided to establish a salient in the middle east is because the violent brand of saudi muslim teachings. We don't want to take the Saudis on directly (...maybe they own alot of long bonds???). Thus, we have to work around the edges. This is absolutely a war of attrition. The only thing that will defeat us is a lack of will. Which may happen, since our leaders have yet to tell use what they're really doing. I love my country. I'm not always happy with my country, but that doesn't change what I feel. We are all engines of karma
  24. Uhm, you sound Republican. ROFLMAO We are all engines of karma
  25. Only if we let it. God always makes a rainbow. Sometimes, somebody needs to define what side of the rainbow is going to exist. How many aircraft carriers do other countries have? Do you think there is _ANY_ other reason why the US govt long bond has been the benchmark for _all_ financial risk calculations done in software models around the world? Like I said, only if we let it. And God damn us if we do. Follow the money. We are all engines of karma
