  1. I totally agree...math stinks...oh wait you said METH. Well nevermind then
  2. Actually that was the title to another of his posts. Try and keep up grandpa.
  3. Oh I get it...because there was only one person burglarized...so far. That makes it ok for them to publicize the list.
  4. wasnt it debunked that the 'maya' character in real life was a man? Not that takes anything I away from the movie I was just curious.
  5. I am well aware that datum is public record. However I dont see that many burglars in my area at the county clerks office researching the next place to hit. A vast majority of criminals are straight up stupid. This newspaper article just gives those stupid people easier access to that knowledge.
  6. She wasnt at home. How did you expect anything to be different. And to think people actually pay to listen to you talk.
  7. That would be difficult to prove...unless there was a 3rd party witness that could corroborate the story.
  8. You'll be hard pressed to find someone here who doesnt agree with you. This dude is a total jackasss and doesnt deserve the privelidge of owning a firearm.
  9. The home of a gun owner, whose address was published by a New York newspaper, has been burglarized and a state lawmaker said it appears the burglars may have used the newspaper’s map to target the residence. “Luckily the gun was locked up and no one was hurt,” Sen. Greg Ball said. The residence in White Plains, was identified in an interactive map that identified the names and addresses individuals who have gun permits. It was published by The Journal News — a Gannett Co. newspaper. The elderly homeowner, who legally owns weapons, was not at home at the time of the burglary. “The police are doing a full investigation,” the unidentified man told NewsDay. Police said it appears the burglars targeted the homeowner’s gun safe. The newspaper has come under intense national exposure after they published a list of residents who have gun permits. Among the most vocal local opponents is Sen. Ball — who said the newspaper had put law-abiding citizens in danger. “The Journal News has placed the lives of these folks at risk by creating a virtual shopping list for criminals and nut jobs,” said Ball. “If the connection is proven, this is further proof that these maps are not only an invasion of privacy but that they present a clear and present danger to law-abiding, private citizens.” Ball is introducing legislation Monday to protect the names of New Yorkers who have legally obtained gun permits. “Former convicts have already testified to the usefulness of the asinine Journal News ‘gun maps’ yet the reckless editors are evidently willing to roll the dice, gambling with the lives of innocent local homeowners,” Ball said. The Affiliated Police Association of Westchester County said they plan to hold the newspaper accountable for any attacks on their residences of their 25,000 members. Ball said the newspaper, whose parent company owns USA Today, is coddling terrorists. “The same elitist eggheads who use their editorial page to coddle terrorists and criminals are now treating law abiding citizens like level three sexual predators,” he said. “This is not about the Second Amendment; these bills are simply about commonsense and personal privacy. Publishing this information on a website, as we have evidently just witnessed in the recent attempted gun burglary, provides criminals with a map of where they can steal firearms from lawful owners for later use in the commission of crimes.” http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/gun-owners-home-outed-by-newspaper-is-burglarized.html
  10. The last mass shooting was initiated by a military officer. Texas is also the largest state [conus] with 25 million people. With all those people there will always nutjob inhabitants just waiting for their opportunity to impact soceity in bad ways. Im not going to stand on the sidelines with my pants down and let someone affect my way of life.
  11. ------------------------------------------------------- I keep bringing up the aspect of all the gangs in the USA and yet all I keep hearing from the left is we have to protect their civil liberties! I have YET to hear anything legitimately intoduced from liberals that will contribute to the greater overall goal of reducing if not eliminating mass shooting.
  12. If something like this is honestly pulled off then the motto "Don't Mess with Texas" will be never a more true statement.
  13. THE WOODLANDS -- A Republican lawmaker from The Woodlands says he's trying to make sure the federal government doesn't take away our gun rights. Don't mess with Texans or their guns. That’s how state Rep. Steve Toth (R-Woodlands) sees it. Toth wants to make any new federal weapons ban illegal in the state of Texas. “This is a hardened state. This isn't a good place for a criminal to show up and start shooting,” said Rep. Toth. So, he’s proposing legislation that would make any federal law banning semiautomatic firearms or limiting the size of gun magazines unenforceable in the Lone Star State. “We want to make sure this legislation protects the Second Amendment gun rights and the Tenth Amendment which is state sovereignty rights of Texans This controversial idea comes on the heels of another state lawmaker, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, and his views about gun training for Texas teachers. “In case we've got school personnel with a concealed handgun permit that are in that school and there's an active shooter, we don't want the children harmed we don't want the teacher harmed,” said Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst. Under his plan, the state would foot the bill for gun training. The decision to allow for concealed weapons on campus would be made district by district. “You're not turning the schools into an armed camp with a lot of police officers,” said Dewhurst. “At the same time, you're sending a message if you publicize it to bad people, stay away from our children.” But the lieutenant governor's idea isn't exactly sitting well with some parents. “I don't believe in guns, so I believe in ban gun period,” said parent Tina Swangphol. “Maybe there could be another way,” said parent Patricia Pittman. “I know they need to be trained, but it shouldn't come out of taxpayer money.” The debate over teachers and guns will no doubt be a hot topic in Austin, but Rep. Toth believes his proposed Firearm Protection Act will easily pass. Under his plan, anyone trying to enforce a federal gun ban could be charged with a felony in Texas. http://www.khou.com/news/local/Woodlands-lawmaker-wants-federal-weapons-ban-illegal-in-Texas--186577481.html
  14. ----------------------------------------------- whatever you say to your girlfriend in your own time is on you. However I dont know how you can think your little corner of the world...to which all of its inhabitants could fit in texas alone is suddenly the cornerstone of civility. http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=17847
  15. Probably because we can spend a thousand dollars on a wrench for the military to appropriate 'secret' funding for various operations the public doesnt know about. Personally I would think that if we can put a man on the fucking moon then there should be people brainstorming about good ideas to keep our schools safe.
  16. I'm pretty sure he wont be doing that again...however I dont see how he did anything wrong when he was following his charts and there was nothing there indicating he couldnt fly over.
  17. Never knew there was such a thing as 'aircraft loitering'
  18. I wont speak for anyone else but if BHO comes out with some fair legislation [as in not making all assault rifles illegal and calling for disarmament of the law abiding citizens] and implements something similar to what you said I will personally apologize to each democrat for prematurely getting pissed off.
  19. If what you say is true it shouldn't require an EO. I would think congress would pass this..because that seems to be a fair compromise and shouldnt have to resort to an EO if what you say is proposed.
  20. I think with the whole execute order on the table to circumvent congress to get his way has left us with a wait and see attitude. I wont make any more judements until his proposal..or EO comes out.
  21. You'll be waiting a while to get a logical solution from kallend...because he doesnt have any.
  22. Ive fired rounds through 100 round beta mags before. I got to around 35 rounds before it jammed and the spring partially unwound inside the mag and I threw it away. Also my father is in law enforcement and he brough several member of the local SWAT team over one day...they brough several class 3 weapons ... HK MP5 an old school thompson machine gun and several full auto variants of the M-16 The thompson has a drum mag that seemed to jam almost every 8 or 10th round. The mag seemed to be the largest contributor at jamming. That MP5 was completely bad ass though
  23. I keep hearing about the liberties of criminals yet in chicago there were 500 murders in 2012. From the sound of it most of these were gang related. So why is it so far off base to create a database of these gangs to track their activity? What about the liberties of the people who weren't in gangs yet got murdered anyway? What about their liberties?
  24. How about giving in to your emotions when you talk. I have never advocated for everyone to have a firearm. There are lots of people who should never have on in their hands. However I should have to right to defend myself against anyone who wishes to do harm on me or my family. Unlike you I wish I NEVER have to use my firearm...to which I am highly trained on...on another human being. But if it does happen...I will annihilate anyone that wishes to do harm to me or my family. I refuse to bend over and take it. How many years have you spent in the military?
