This is very interesting. I've been fighting my Ace since Day 1 to get it to open on-heading slider-up. Slider-down it opens just dandy, but slider-ups have been giving me consistent 45deg (+) off-headings. 460 and I have been kicking around theories, such as tail-rolling/folding techniques, but one thing I always do is attach a rubber-band to the left inner C-line and then take a bite of slider mesh to keep it up on the stops. My last jump was off-heading veering to the left and thinking back I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of them have been in that direction. So I'm starting to wonder if this might be the real source of the problem. Perhaps by having the slider rubber-banded to one side I'm creating asymmetric tension and inducing a turn in that direction. Actually, I play and enjoy golf myself. I was just thinking in terms of a snappy comeback. I enjoy golf because of the challenge. It's something that's impossible to perfect... you can always refine some skill. And it's multi-faceted. You have driving skills, fairway play skills, approach shots, short game, putting and course strategy. Plus, when you think that you can get an itty-bitty ball into a 4 inch cup from 400 yards out in 4 strokes or less, that's kind of cool. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon -

One of the deals with the BASE numbers is that it is anonymous. If you have a BASE number you can tell other folks who you are, but you won't get anything out of Rick & Joy over who has what number. And that's the way it should be. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon

Yeah it looks like it. The one 3-way freefly pic looks like she's jumping with Jimmy Halliday (or Mike Knight, can't quite tell with the helmet). In fact, I wonder if she's the chick jumping with Jimmy & Mike in "Standard Issue". If it is she's a damn good freeflier.
