Post your tips on how to maintain your health and stay in the sport, besides pulling at the right altitude- I am pushing 50 and am just beginning to feel certain changes such as minor back pain which can be worse after jumping, energy levels etc. Also i have been reading about DHEA and hormone level drops and so fourth as we age. A couple of honest to goodness cougars( I am actually older then they are) I met on the internet last week are driving down For a BBQ- one for me and the other one and I am going to try to set up with a friend. They seem kinda wild & if he doesn't show up i think I may have to bust out a chair and a whip and a ring of fire. Anybody got any good stories this year? For me- wow what a tough creature to hunt. Anyone who thinks wild turkeys are stupid I can tell you they are cunning,extremely careful,visually supernatural, and ghostly elusive. The Eastern toms are much more difficult to hunt than deer in these parts. I finally got one but it took a lot of painstaking effort,deep woods hikes at dark:30 in the morning, a month of flawless preparation and many mistakes to get all the ingredients just right for success- who's with me on this.
