No, I don't believe in fate. Choice allows for the opportunity to select what will occur. Sometimes we select the wrong choice and may or may not pick the right one the next time. Politically, I think we need more independents, as most political party figures generally stick to the more extreme ends of their respective parties, whereas I believe that most voters live somewhere more towards the median. Extremity in all forms is a negative no matter which way you look at it. It endulges ignorance and indifference. Tolerance, acceptance and openmindedness is a necessity that is often overlooked by many. I too am guilty of it on occasion, as is everyone else in some degree.
