Perris was at $20 per jump when I started jumping there in June of '05... wasn't that long ago. Plus gas was at about $2.50 there per gallon. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

isn't that an oxymoron? (Kinda like Oprah's guide to staying thin) Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

Oh, and all their tandem instructors are great, but I did both of mine (first time being stationed in florida 5 years ago) with Rick. He's good people. I don't know if he'll be working though.

Yes, emerald coast is the closest. They're good people, but if you want to make a solo jump, get out there early. Since they had the caravan sold out from under them, they've been a bit of a tandem factory. (they gotta do what they gotta do I guess) I made a couple trips out there while I was in Floida for EOD school and the last few trips I only was able to get 1 jump in after waiting about 3-4 hours. Get the tandem scheduled early and plan on waiting some. I've seen some of the prettiest sunset loads out there, but it's hard to time it sometimes. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. There's nothing wrong with joining the Corps... I love it and I've been in for over 5 years.

So you're fine in a hot tub as long as no one turns on the jets? Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

I wrote this one about 4 and a half years ago when I was stationed in Florida for the first time. Time Slowly Speeds By The sands of the hourglass Fall at varying speeds Sometimes, as slow as the growth As the new sprouting seeds Time creeps on by Like the patient snail Or a boat in the ocean With a windless sail And yet at times, it blows on by You blink and an hour's passed It's as though someone put a hole In the side of the hourglass But either way, slow or fast Enjoy it while you can Because you never know when your time has come And you've run out of sand Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. LOL Yeah, I actually work in the industry and if I want the car trucked within a week it will cost me 2500. The problem is most truck carriers do not specifically hual cargo from 1 side of the country to the other, and when they get to that destination it's difficult for them to find cargo to hual back to get them home. Although rail may be an option for me. Looking at all my options right now, and compiling the cost's. g Tell ya what i'll do... you pay for my flight to the states, over to MD and the gas, I'll drive 'er back to Cali. I'll cover my own food and my return flight. I don't use hotels... just rest stops. This is all provided there's a case of Jack Daniel's waiting at the door when I show up. I drove from Eglin AFB in the panhandle of FL to Eloy AZ in 30 hours. Left on a Tuesday, got there on a Wednesday. That even included an hour stop to visit with BoosterMPS in Houston. Get me there on the 23rd and I'll have your car there by Christmas. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. it's within the mos if i remember correctly. this inspection was run by a civillian that used to do my job many years ago. I'm not too worried about being able to do the work, just pissed i HAVE TO as far as quantity for being so horrendously screwed up. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. ran a test last night to see if i, too, had a crazy spot just above my ass that makes me pee if i scratch it and feels good with hot water, however, they all came back negative so do you pee automatically right now if you get in a hot tub? and the CO will get the award for having a marine like me who can get things right after being all back-asswards... I don't care if it looks good on anyone to be completely honest... I just definately don't want to look BAD on me. Some people refrain from beating a dead horse. Personally, I find a myriad of entertainment value when beating it until it becomes a horse-smoothie.

Marines... and the good news is that since the paperwork is fucked up like a football bat, I can get a lot of eyes on me in a positive way if I get this squared away and us back to a solid passing score.

I don't see why... I'm doin' that here in Japan and so far, the only issue i have is that I keep going to the left side of the car to get in and drive. Once I'm in and driving, I'm fine.
