    That I do, I'll shift to put my bike in low RPMs. The biggest problem in the B/CS area in that regards are all the wanna-be racers with the sport bikes going through residental areas doing 35mph in first gear. That really pisses people off around here. LOL I dont do that... 3rd is were it should be. but sometimes 2nd 5K rpm is totaly acceptible j/k. residental means rpms stay low... ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD!     we were dropping??? hmmm i really though i was floating and it was windy out that day. I didnt have that feeling. have fun! remember to breath. that was my main problem! u lnow how a baby is when u blow in its face? they loose the ability to take a breath. thats all i had a problem with. i think i took about 3 breaths during free fall. but i know ill get used to that! nothing to worry about though!     No shit, a lot of those full ton diesels rattle even my truck when they go by. When on my bike I can't even hear *my* bike that I'm on when they go by. I can also relate to this ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD! DoNt MiNd ThE tYpOs, Im LaZy On CoRrEcTiOnS!

    i ride. here is my baby. its a gsx-r 600 2003. only modifications i have done are drop 1 tooth up front and add 2 teeth to the rear. (more low end) went to a 520 chain conversion (less recipricating mass means more power to the ground), change to GP shift (1st gear up and 2nd - 6th is down), ATRE installed, Sliders (frame and swingarm), flush mount signals (greg's customs), and some misc. carbon fiber stuff. and added a sportbike cam mount to share the fun! here is a pic.     my little 2000 s-10 had 23 miles when i got it and now its more than 151,000 :) warranty was up the first year i had it. since i got a bike i put way less milage on it. Now the bike is seeing milage. had it 2 years and already at 16000 miles. thats somewhat alot for a streetbike

    im just starting out and i do my second jump next weekend. the first and second i chose to go the tandem route. reason being i just want to get the feel for it b4 i have to worry about controling everything.     anyone ever experienced one? when i made my first jump i was messing with my TM. I asked her what are the odds for first jump to be a reserve ride in a tandem? Has anyone herd of a first jump end up bieng a reserve ride? If so... did they continue with the sport or decide that it was fate telling them they need to stay on the ground. ExPeCt ThE uNeXpEcTeD!     That is another sport called street climb. Its pretty cool.     while i dont have gear, i do ride alot and this thought already crosed my mind. I figured a large backpack was the best way! I dont like the idea of hoping i remember to remove twist ties, ribbons, zip ties ect.ect. Plus a backpack would protect ur high dollar investment if u were to have to dismount from the bike in a wreck. Suzuki has a backpack i think might work and its supposed to be really sturdy. i think its called the teck II backpack. other than that Alpinestars has a large backpack. both are around 70-80 USD depending were u get it at. when u figure out what works best let me know

    welcome to the forums. have fun on ur first jump. did mine last weekend and next weekend ive already got everything ready to jump agan this weekend. Im in texas so not the same DZ. but im sure u will get a response from someone that jumps there.
