I've been in a few fights and i have to say sometimes your too scared to back down (anyone else get this at all?). You'd rather fight and get the shit beat out of you than turn away from a person who has threatened you for no reason. I feel your pain. I was 16 and got a job in a local Pub collecting glasses, i see these two guys arguing and ignore it as these American tourists call me over for advice on best drinks to get them shit faced. Anyway after my nice chat i walk past the arguing guys and i feel a tap on my shoulder, i spin around and this fist pounds into me. My lip looks like a split sausage and im chewing on a tooth. Being 16 and knowing i couldnt take this guy i simply said "Is that it? my mum spanks me harder than that?" The police inform me hes a traveller who's always in trouble and just out of prison for violence. The dude was 24, hope he felt big when i didnt even hit the deck.. Oh yea just to rub salt in the woud because they didnt do an official ID of him, they asked who it was at the scene and i said him so he got away with it. Just back from a drunken weekend and thought i'd share...yes im bored Anyway never been to Liverpool so gave it a go. I can tell you i've never looked at a place and felt depressed as quickly as i did there in my life, it was so scummy, dark, smelly, cold, full of metal windows and doors and full of kids who like to shout and throw stuff at buses and cars. Anyway after arriving i wasnt exactly excited about finding a pub but me and my mates got ready and wandered out the B&B. Im walking along and this big ugly fucker is walking right at us with a case of beer over one shoulder and gives us a nice smile and hello. Thought that was very nice and found a dank pub. I get a drink and dont have a seat (im not fussed, im drinking a cold beer and dont need a seat) when this guy points to one not in use and offers me it asking where im from and getting into general conversation... basically where this is going is i've never been in such a rough looking place with genuinly nice people who where always smiling and saying hello. Infact the only dickhead of the night was one of my mates who had far too much to drink, got a bit shitty with people then went skidding down the road on his face for a quick trip to A&E (dont you love it when a drunk falls over and is too pissed to use their arms? even when its a friend its cringingly funny) Liverpool was a breath of fresh air, loved it. 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Well seeing as i just posted about this matter i better make a point... I suppose it depends on the women and how long and intimitly you know each other.
