  1. I lived in Holland during the time of Clinton's unfortunate head incident Most of the snickering was done because in Europe it just would not have been news. It would have never been an issue, Clinton would have never been asked the question. Most people in Europe snickered, because we never saw it as an issue. In mainland Europe, the press mostly leaves the private life of politicians alone. If it doesn't affect the office, then it really isn't all that interesting.
  2. I am hoping the shirt will be available in Canada
  3. And you beat my to it as well, by quite a large margin as well
  4. Because it would seem that the questions have ben asked, yet no answers are given. If it is all above board, then why not answer? Why is it that he is one of the few top politicians who has not released his military documents? Why have all these documents dissappeared? Funny enough, it is stated that they guy in charge of the Texas National Guard at the time of Bush Jr.'s documents disapearing is now heading the National Guard nation wide. Like I said, many questions and nobody willing to answer certainly makes me doubt. And yes, Clinton was wrong to lie about getting head.
  5. I could not agree with you more. I am doing some searches on the internet regarding the claim of Bush going AWOL and deserting. Here is one: http://www.awolbush.com Though it is definitely biased, it certainly raises some questions. and from: http://www.buzzflash.com/contributors/2002/10/25_Deserter.html It would seem that there are lots of questions and nobody is answering. I would have to say that it certainly has not been proven, but it would seem that it is not all above board. (Edited because my spelling sucks)
  6. Not at all what I was trying to do. It is just a situation that I do not understand and I am asking those who are directly influenced by it (the american people) for clarification.
  7. Chris, question for you. What does it say about a man to desert the military?
  8. Nope, but am familiar with it. Yes yes, I have seen some of the results first hand. Yes, but it requires lots of hard work, lots of dedication and a strong willingness to turn your life around.
  9. very true, and from previous posts I seem to remember that you like Bush. Isn't desertion desertion? Or since it was long ago, desertion doesn't matter anymore?
  10. I have asked another person, but I still don't understand. If all this is true, and in all honestly I believe it to be true, then why can a deserter be so loved by the US forces? Is it really, as you seem to state, a love by default? Just because the other option is worse?
  11. I did not say I held it against him, that is your assumption. I actually respect the fact that he has been sober. I said that I personally have a bigger problem with a drunk driver than somebody getting head in his office, whenever that happened. I also stated that that was regardless of political views.
  12. my most sincere condolences Michael. Blue Skies to Michael's father........
  13. So, is it better to say you will serve but then desert, or is it better to never serve at all? Or if you deserted, can you make it up by giving the military heaps of money? Would that not be akin to bribery? Is deserting honourable? Is bribery honourable? Just like "the other" Justin I agree with you on this one. Not trying to defend anybody or trying to bash Bush, just not understanding and trying to.

    Debt

I had some credit issues in th past, but got out of that. Now I carry no balance on either credit card and my line of credit is untapped. Have actually saved money all year to build up a little stockpile for the summer jumping season. I like not having any debt.
  15. :5:0 So, Saturday was a complete wash, rained all day. Friday night after work was good for 3 nice 2-way sit jumps. Sunday afternoon, with the wife in tow to the dz. 2 Jumps. First one was a 4 way hybrid attempt. The 4 way chunk funnelled on exit, so it just turned into a 4 way sit. 2nd Jump on Sunday was an attempted 3pt 12 way. I was on the 4 way base, which somewhat funnelled. (not my fault) but got back together. We built the first point, then when trying to build the second point, my partner ot the right lost his grip and he and I sank out. Gotta work on that fall rate issue. Great weekend, except for Saturday.
  16. I got that list emailed ot me as well. Some of the accusations seem to be a little far fetched, and some are stated more than once in different wording. I do have one question, something I have wondered about. I am very surprised that the military likes him so much. You would think that a deserter would not be so highly supported by the military. Personally I have less problems with some one getting head than some one driving drunk, regardless of political views.
  17. My personal best is 9. One rig and a packer though
