  1. He is probably waiting for you to condemn the US for sending this man to Syria for torture. But, you are oddly silent on that.
  2. I have read most of the posts and get the feeling many people have some reading comprehension issues. A large sponsor of an event put some conditions on the sizeable donation they are making. The event has the option of not accepting the sponsorship and try and get the money from sponsors willing to give them the money without said conditions. In this case the sponsor is a regional government. No laws are used, not even created or proposed. Just a condition on sponsorship money. Other fashion shows in Spain can use skinny models. Even fashion shows in the same region, who get their funding from a different place. Talk about creating a mountain out of a mole hill....geez.
  3. Damn it is cold in here.... I agree with TheAnvil.
  4. runningroom.com They have in-store and online clinics. Great way to start running and a great way to continue running.
  5. Yup and it happens the other way around too....cops protecting cops, the brotherhood, the blue line or the blue wall. This would just remove one set of checks and balances in this system. You may also want to check out McCormack's family relationship with the TPS and some of the history to shine some light on all of this.
  6. Shhh, stop making sense. I have strong criticism for the RCMP and Syria. To claim that the US were just innocent bystanders is a little silly, JR and others.
  7. I don't get men watching oiled up, steroid popping muscle men in spandex rubbing up against eachother. Sounds pretty gay to me.
  8. Well Duh, we all know conservatives don't believe in blowjobs
  9. What would you perceive this benefit to be? What would making English an official language accomplish?
  10. Unless of course as a company to profit you have to be a "friend" of the administration to be able to do business.
  11. Yeah but at least the head extortionist in the vatican has declared that Harry Potter himself is the anti christ. You just can't make this stuff up
  12. Isn't everything invented in America?
  13. Kind of a simplistic view. There are many very powerful families making absolute fortunes off the war efforts lead by Bush jr. How many of them are giving most of their money away to the homeless and needy? All the money spent on the war in Iraq could have done a lot of good in America itself and by all the information we have today, it is pretty clear that war was started on completely false pretenses and served absolutely no purpose in the war against terrorism. Maybe you should look in your own backyard before condemning others?
  14. I agree with much of what you say. The issue for me is, that most people put loud pipes on their bike, not for safety reasons, but for reasons more alligned with ego and "coolness factor" and then justify it with a somewhat possible safety argument. Yet, items that are much more safety oriented are often not used, specifically in the cruiser riding segment. Full face helmets, full leathers, orange reflective vest and the like are not worn, cause they are not perceived to be "cool" eventhough they provide significantly more safety benefits then loud pipes ever will. Hence, I think it is generally more acurate if people state they put loud pipes on their bikes to be cool and noticed (or maybe for increased performance, though that is not often a reason for cruiser riders) and not for the supposed added safety.
  15. I rate that slightly lower than the opinion of the brittish SAS soldier who refused to go back to Iraq because of all the war crimes by American troops. At least he identified himself. At least the Candians are stepping up in Afghanistan, really the only war that makes sense in this supposed war on terror. Personally I'd rather lose soldiers in a war that means something, than losing soldiers in a President's pet project. I guess for you it doesn't matter one way or the other since you make good money as a mercenary...as long as people kill eachother business is good for you.
  16. Thanks for calling Canadian troops inexperienced. Maybe they would do better if US fighter pilots stopped bombing them?
  17. Uhmm, not quite sure what that would have to do with wether torture is a viable alternative to interrogation and if the information garnered is actually valuable.... There are a couple of thousand dead American soldiers and innocent Iraqi's who would say that torture did not lead to valuable information....Plus, Colin made a bit of a fool of himself because of it too....
  18. You are right, what could that General Jones guy possibly know about warfare.... Former Commandants of the US Marine Corps are usually pretty stupid people....
  19. I heard he started with pot, but quickly stepped to heroin.
  20. It is true...only to find out that the WMD he admitted to having seen didn't exist. It's okay, only a couple of thousand people have lost their lives due to those 2 1/2 minutes of torture....but Bush got his wish.
  21. Uhmm, calling them like you see them could still be a PA.
  22. Also all things not considered to be cool on a cruiser.
  23. really? With the oil needed to keep China going, I am not so sure you will easily win an all out war against China. You seem to be having trouble enough (and Canada similar in Afghanistan) with a limited number of guerilla fighters.
