    Might have figured it was cheaper than continuing with a lawsuit. I make decisions like that almost daily. Was he found guilty? Lastly, in the case of Monica, it is clear he did not lie under oath....

    The only thing is, he didn't lie under oath about it. The then current definition of sexual relations did not include a BJ, hence he did not lie about it either.

    I have never said there has to be a date. I don't know what the oficially stated strategy is. I certainly can't find it on a government website. If you know, please tell me.

    Then aswner the question rush. Or admit you don't know (or maybe care). What is the official straegy for Iraq? What would be considered a victory? Your countrymen and women are dying in droves, don't you think they have a right to know what they are dying for?

    That is how understand it too. Walking around with guns for self defence would not fit that thought. However, JohnRich seems to know better and is probably searching the NRA website for Amish references as we speak. In the mean time, the media is reporting that the Amish community has reached out to the family of the shooter and is openly asking for foregiveness of the shooter by society at large. JR, we'll await your counterpoint. (hopefully consisting of more than some carefully picked bible quotes)

    My understanding of the Amish. There are bible quotes about killing people too....don't see to many Amish doing that either....so posting a couple of bible quotes is rather silly. If you have some relevant information about the Amish and their gun ownership, please do post away.

    If I were an American, send letters to government representatives. Letters to newspapers. Phone calls to representatives etc.

    It wouldn't be so bad if somebody could tell me why those men and women died. What overall stated goal they were trying to achieve.

    Well originally it was to make the US safe and find those WMD, cause his right to use force was only in defence of the US. Now though, many years later, what is the stated strategy now? Funny how billions of dollars and thousands of lives later, nobody knows what the official strategy is. Nobody even cares, they just seem to "happily" follow along.

    It appears to be a lot of things, but nobody seems to know what it really is. With the amount dead and the amount of money spent, it is pretty scary that nobody knows. What is even scarier is that nobody seems to care either....

    No, I am trying to figure out what the official strategy in Iraq is. Thousands of your service men and women have died. Don't you want to know what for? What is the offical strategy in Iraq and what would be considered a victory?

    You have shown yourself to be a blind follower of your God inspired leader. I figured if anybody would know (and funny enough, nobody seems to know what the strategy is) you would know as such a staunch supporter.

    Correct, but he was using a powerful position to try and have sex with those easily impressed by his position. Wasn't that what many Republicans were really upset about? About abuse of power and a deteriorated decorum of the office of the president? What about the decorum of the office of Congress and a middle aged guy trying to abuse his power to shag teens? Shouldn't that equally outrage the same republicans?

    Funny, pretty easy to turn this around on the Republicans. They were all upset because Clinton abused his power to get sex from an intern. Why aren't they all evenly outraged that Foley was trying to use his position to get sex from young ones? Moral of the story: Democrats and Republicans are both hypocrites.

    Don't think so, I believe many people on this site say they are libertarian after they tell some one they are a stupid Democrat or Republican. Then when they are responded to with the opposite, they will say....no I am not, I am a libertarian....

    I have to say that I do prefer that over the current situation which is: Service men and women as well as Iraqis dying without any formal policy or strategy.
