Which is possible. It is also possible that the build up of ice caused faulty speed readings. speeding up in heavy turbulence can cause a plane to have catastrophic failures. My uncle who is a captain for AA wrote me the following: "A storm of that magnitude is a prime candidate for attenuation, a phenomena where a cell is so massive that on board radar can not penetrate it enough to show its true image. The radar image will then show a much thinner storm, with ( a dead giveaway ) no returns behind it. Better radar versions will warn of attenuation with contrasting colors ( blue or yellow ) when a shorter range, 40nm, is selected, in the shape of a cone behind the suspect storm. Selecting a longer range may not display that feature, and what looks like a thin line of weather with clear sailing behind may actually be the worst of conditions." Don't think that TV show ever made it to Holland. I certainly never saw it when I lived there. But the OP was most certainly talking about a TV show and the actor found in Bangkok. I just want to know.....who fucking masturbates in bangkok.....

Obviously you have never heard them call a Leafs game. They are by far the best out there, but un-biased I wouldn't call them.

I think medical decisions should always remain in the personal realm. I think that as men we need ot know that when we have sex, there are risks associated that are life altering and beyond our control once conception has taken place. We should know that the medical decision remains with the female. Her body, her decisions. We should know that her decision will have a major impact on us. If we can't handle that pressure, we really should stick to blowjobs. Those to me are the realities behind sex. I understand the logic behind your post, however could never agree with a medical decision being taken away from a sane person.

Did that study include possible mental health issues. Raising the baby that you gave birth to after your father raped you must leave some scars and certainly pulls into questions the level of care some might be able to provide. I think the whole discussion with regard to this particul case is inane. The Doctor provided a legal service and he got shot multiple times and in the end killed in a church, in front of his wife and other innocent bystanders for providing it. I find it odd some find glee in that.

Must be something about their subsequent actions.....

He took over his father's practice after his father died, so what you are insinuating is a little silly.

Really Tiller and Bush? For the record, I do see a difference, but one you wont agree with I am sure. Tiller stood up for what he believed in. Bush stood up for what he was told to believe in.

How about the fetusses he spared a horrific, painful death after they were born? He provided a fully legal service. I am sure it was misused by some, but to paint him as some horrific killer is completely missing the picture and turns this into a purely emotional argument, which is senseless. In a sense he is a hero. He refused to back down from what he believed in, even though that put his life in danger. he had been shot before in both arms, but didn't let that deter him. I have respect for somebody who continues on standing tall for his legal belief. he wanted to be a dermatologist early on in his career, but ended up taking over his father's practice. he then found out that his father had bene performing abortions illegally. Why was his father doing that? because he had watched a patient of his die after he refused to perform an abortion on her. It is a sad day when an extremist takes the life of a law abiding citizen of the United States, takes away a husband, father and grandfather and people cannot bring themselves to show some sympathy and respect. I believe Dr Tiller to be a hero. Not for his actions as a doctor, but for his actions as a person.

If the hazard is big enough that he has to hit his brakes as opposed to a light swerve, I don't need him to take his hands off the bar. If it is to point out lose gravel, road kill etc, I don't need him to take his right hand off the bar either and slow down for no good reason. Riding in a group in a tight formation is often safer than a longer spacing. It does mean that people can't behave like idiot, such as pointing with their right hand (assuming no cruise control obviously)

I take it you saw the part where he tried to repo a bike? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmRg1XwEH1U

If I am riding in a tight formation and somebody in front of me uses his right hand to point out a hazard, there is going to be some hell to pay......

I have a family member who used to be a nurse in an abortion clinic up here in Toronto. As a side note, she now works in a fertility clinic, talking about extremes. In talking with her, you really do get a sense that people going through abortions runs the complete range of social circles and reasoning. Unfortnuately there are certainly some people who view abortion as a form of birth control. However, there is an even bigger group of women (specially here in Toronto with an extremely multi cultural population) that have the abortion due to family rape, drug issues, young teen-agers etc etc. I am for the right of women to have abortions. Is that right mis-used by some? Absolutely, but for many it is also used for very valid reasons. (I have often wondered how many people who are against abortion are foster parents)

No cause sports watching is not excluded in residential zoning, religous gatherings are. Maybe, but they would have been told it is not a zoning issue. This one was, so they had to act. From the story it sounds like the guy was a real dick. But, who knows how long this has been festering? It may have just been a culmination of years of aggravation. We just don't know at this point. You seem to be taking it as an insult to christiantity, or an assault on your religion. In my opinion, thta is just not the case. The guy probably found out that it was a zoning infraction and wanted the issue dealt with for whatever reason.

Actually the "problem", if that is what you want to call it, didn't exist much until Vietnamese Buddhist started moving to the US. They started gathering at "Home Temples" and the neighbours complained about parking and the noise of the chanting. Many zoning by-laws do not allow private residences to be used for religuous gatherings. When you host organized gatherings in a dwelling on a regular basis, the dwelling has to have certain safety features, egress being one of the more important ones. Why religuous gatherings are specifically mentioned, I don't know. I have this feeling it may have to do with money...like taxes. To this day I still don't understand why the IRS treats religous non-profit organizations differently from non-religious non-profit organizations.

I don't think there is "such opposition". I think the general rules of common curtesy and respect apply. If you don't piss off your neighbours, none of this really matters. If your neighbour is an asshole, or you are an asshole and piss of your neighbour, these things can become issues. It's not as if the city is going door to door to find out. But when a complaint is received, they have to act on it. The simplest solution would be not to piss of your neigbours.
-
From a zoning perspective I don't think any of that matters. (It doe smatter with regard to the filing of the complaint obviously) If a church is holding meetings at a residence in the name of that church, it likely is in violation of the zoning restrictions.
-
I don't know too many people who hold dinner parties for 10 or 20 people on a weekly organized basis. The key I think is the organized part. A registered organization is holding regular, organized meetings in a residence. That is where the zoning issues come in, since that is not a regular residential activity. If you and a couple of friends decide to get together on a weekly basis to discuss Jesus, I don't think that would be an issue. If you are a leader in an established and registered organization and you direct people to your residence for regular and ongoing activities that fall under that organization, that might become a problem when people complain. Since in most cases that would not be allowed under the residential zoning.

Of course it can, usually cause the people involved in the relationship weren't being honest with each other. I don't know what you are basing the "and it usually does" part on. I see many threesomes, foursomes and multiples happen on a very frequent basis. Some end up in disaster, but the far majority don't.

I think the request is reasonable. I do think that lots of communication needs to happen. Both for the reason of the first request and the reason behind the request in return. Bringing others into your "bedroom" can be a lot of fun, and can actually make relationships much closer. However, the key is communication, a mutual understanding of the drive behind it, clear and understood boundaries and the trust and respect that ensures that mutual agreements are kept, even in "the heat of the moment".
-
I think the difference lies in organization and common purpose. If you play a little soccer with your kids and friends every Wednesday afternoon, city officials wouldn't have much of a problem with it. You start running a soccer league with regular games in your front yard, now they probably will. You are quite right in quesitoning where the line is between having bible study meetings and running a church from your house. I don't have the answer, but I would suggest reading the applicable by laws for the community in question.

I pay everything by credit card and have several cards with what most would consider very high limits. I never carry a balance and haven't paid interest in years. I prefer paying by credit card for the protection it offers with regard to fraud. And, I generally only have cards with some type of rebate or points associated with it, so why not charge absolutely everything I can to them?

So if you are born in Israel, is your nationality listed as Israeli or Jewish?
