  1. Ahh here I was thinking that when you say taxed, you meant paying tax....
  2. From that article: And that is how the games are played. We all hate the government until we need it, and then we demand immediate action and attention.
  3. The constitution is only there to make sure you get to have guns. After that, everything else is open to change... Just don't touch the guns.
  4. Those earnings are not traxed twice. They are taxed more than twice. Corporation shareholder sales tax if spent Estate tax if saved beyond death etc Your math and definitions are off. Thanks for playing (and I really hope you don't work in the financial field)
  5. Who needs an education when you can have guns?
  6. I agree. Also both sides should be held accountable; Labour and Employer sides.
  7. You mean like these companies who have head offices in tax friendly countries. They claim huge revenues out of those offices, yet the office consists of one receptionist answering phonee (Often shared by multiple Head Offices).
  8. Gun ownership is pretty high in Nevada. Isn't that supopsed to prevent this kind of stuff?
  9. No, I acknowledge there is a double standard. There is in everything in life. I am assuming that everybody who has made it passed the age of 16 has figured that one out.
  10. Really? In the US, or did you mean world wide? Is this one of those 74% of statistics that is made up?
  11. They even allow Irish Grenades.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e-3XsgXe2E
  12. It is quite simple, stopping all that smuggling/arms deals is bad for business.
  13. I agree, but Canada certainly isn't alone in radio censorship...just ask Howard Stern. The university threatened her with violence?
  14. Is that what the Fox soundbite told you....guess that makes you fair and balanced too...
  15. Yikes, some nice spin in that paragraph. The Dire Straits' song is allowed back on the radio and not censored. The warning to Ann Coulter was sent by a university official. As for Soulja Boy, shocking people sells records.
  16. It is a nice fad. Everybody is running barefoot in shoes, while complaining about how marketing led to them wearing running shoes. I do enjoy the irony.
  17. In all fairness, I think the two situations are a little different. Most people would be willing to try and get the keys away from somebody who is about to do something stupid, like driving a car drunk. How many would be willing to struggle with somebody trying to get away their gun when they are about to do something stupid, like shooting drunk?
  18. To me the equasion is one of risk vs reward and one of probability and possibility. Depending on the area where I live I would have to decide if the risk (possibility and probability) of having an armed intruder in my house with lethal end result, is worth the risk of having guns in the house.
  19. so much for my bad joke...
  20. Since you see my attemp to try and understand your opinion as "twsiting", I don't see much sense in continuing.
  21. Fair enough. Now I understand why you don't get the insensitive angle. Since I would find the above insensitive even (almost) 10 years later. (funny enough it has nothing to do with the carbon footprint of a 767 in United livery)
  22. I agree. Hopefully you will refrain from using it in the future.
  23. None of those are policies tied to Obama. There have been a fair number of Republicans in control since the inception of those programs. Since they have been very much helped along by conservatives, how do you solely blame that on post 60's liberalism?
  24. I cannot answer that question since I see absolutely no connection between post 60's liberalism and the 2008 recession. You haven't listed any programs, so I cannot comment on that either.
