That's right, not like they are as morally sound as Team America...Fuck Yeah.

Looks like the sequester has devastated the economy
SkyDekker replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
I don't think it will destroy the economy. However, on my latest round of travels I just flew back to Canada, with a lay over in Houston. They had 3 CBP officers dealing with three plane loads. Naturally the delay caused me to miss my flight, which has resulted in lost luggage. Obviously, any further travel around the world will no longer contain any stops in the US. The hassle has just gotten too much. I am at a point where I will pay extra, and travel longer just to avoid stops in the US, unless my destination is in the US. It would be nice if Americans start making voting decisions based on more than guns and abortion. -
I agree. But then, that wasn't what I was responding too.

I'll help you out. Look at the top of the little text box on the right hand side of the pages you linked too. It reads "official language(s)". You may note that each page has some different words after that. But yes, other than that it is almost the same.
-
LMAO Yes almost the same. Except one has an officially recognized language and the other does not.

Self defense. Why? The odds of me coming across a polar or grizzly bear are pretty slim. what about a rabid fox or racoon? Hasn't happened yet, nor have I heard of any reports of there being any in my neighbourhood. Been a while since I have heard about a rabid fox or raccoon attack. Maybe I should start preparing for that zombie attack too.

Self defense. Why? The odds of me coming across a polar or grizzly bear are pretty slim. Since the odds of a malfunction of your main are very slim, you need not have a reserve on then Hell, why carry that weight? You most likely do not have a fire extinguisher in your house either Did you get rid of that spare tire? Why waste the space? Surely you don’t lock the doors to your home now either. Because the changes of someone coming in is very small Leave your keys in your car when you are at work of the DZ? Just sayin So true. They are all the same. I remember reading about that 6 year old finding Daddy's reserve parachute and accidentally killing his sister with it. That pretty weak Even for you It seems that just because you do not wish to be prepared, you dont want others to be either Painfully selfish of you Exactly, just 10 minutes ago I told my staff member he was no longer allowed to hunt.

Should speak ENGLISH in ENGLAND? Oh the humanity! Hmmm Then you see no problem in the US where laws are passed that the gov does all it processes in English and that all trying to become citizens speak English That is good to know and a step in the right direction Well that depends. Does England have an official language? Does the US?

Actually, it is more my belly...from laughing.

I get a kick out of people comparing private sector to public sector and try and make it sound like they operate under the same market structure and same market forces.

Joe Biden admits gun control will not stop mass shootings
SkyDekker replied to regulator's topic in Speakers Corner
And no example of a time with modern weaponry. They could take you out with relative pinpoint precision from a drone you will never see. -
It has been answered a number of times, you just don't like or agree with the answers you are getting.

I feel like I'm talking to a person, a very young person, who has just been told the price of his favorite candy bar might go up and he's throwing a tantrum. I really could not care less if the price of skydiving increased as a result of safety regulation. It is, by and large, a "rich man's" hobby when you consider the world at large. It's also a completely optional part of life. You wanna play, you pay. So what? Speaking of tantrums, you made any bets lately? Didn't you lose?
-
Yet everybody who is complaining about this double standard is getting in underhanded insults on Kallend, like you just did. Double standard while complaining about a double standard.
-
So where we're you when the Bush administration used that same play book to invade a country? Lots of people have gotten extremely wealthy off the death of peasants, while there was no risk to America. Americans with guns are a much bigger threat to the US than Iraq ever was and Al Qaeda will ever be.
-
Yes that's what I said ll The US has a problem with gun violence. Guns kill more Americans than terrorism kills people worldwide.
-
So you went from tight end to wide receiver... It's ok, I don't judge. I'm even in favour of you getting married!!
-
Because there is nothing that is 100% effective. But that doesn't mean you never do anything. Having a gun didn't prevent a seal from getting shot and killed at a gun range. Does that mean you are going to stop carrying a gun for protection?
-
Not at all. If you can afford private school for your kids, go for it. Nobody is stopping you. If you can't afford private school, maybe stop being so lazy and work harder. This is America, anybody can be successful if they just work hard enough. Why do you want the government to pay for something, just because rich people can afford it? You are either extremely jealous, or a communist.

Now we know why FL has one of the highest CCW rates per capita
SkyDekker replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
So what is the average response time for that police department? All the article said was that they were fired for not responding. It didn't Mention if other units responded. It didn't mention if reponse time for the calls was over the average. If it is all about response time, then this article is a piss poor example. I thought the pro-gun crowd wanted fact based arguments and not emotion based arguments? -

It would be on par with what I think of LEO in general. It is truly amazing how Americans get anything accomplished with all these constant threats and dangers they need to protect themselves from. Thankfully I live in a country where I don't have to constantly worry if somebody is going to kill me, even though I live in the 5th largest metropolitan area in North America. -

Lol, one of the ignored emergency calls that the original poster is using as a reason for gun possession was for a 5 year old unconscious. The other for a suspicious car. The first for a burglary in process, but it didn't say if anybody was in the house. So for 2 out of 3 (and pretty damn likely 3 out of 3) your gun would have been useless anyways. -

Yup and when you make an emergency call for your unconscious 5-year old, you could always turn to your gun for help when they don't show up.
