  1. And by the way, what's up with the hate on you have for her anyway? She just keeps lying. (remember Benghazi and her on the talk shows?) And this is a big deal. 1 part of 3 going on at this time. As for Trumpland? It is way more sane that the world you are living in it seems. If you have to name them anyway....... Trump has now told more lies than any President in the history of your country. But your main concern is that people lie, just not when Trump does it.
  2. What is micro aggressed? That is a new term for me.
  3. Socialist Canada is so backwards we don't allow this. I am sure we will quickly catch up to this great piece of legislation.
  4. Further evidence to the theory that the Trump candidacy and follow-on administration has been driven and guided from the onset by Bannon. He gets to play in the White House, but he used someone else's money to do it, gets to stay out of the line of fire, is required to produce nothing, and will suffer zero lasting public condemnation afterward. Genius. And reap all the financial rewards.
  5. Judge or jury of course. If you are found guilty it was an unfair prosecution. If you are acquitted it was fair prosecution.

Clueless much? NPR is left leaning, are you recommending FOX? Right, and you are posting this as big news now. Like I said, this wasn't news to those who didn't stick to partisan news sources up until now. That was the point. You would have noticed that nobody was pontificating how ACA is perfect etc. Things always tend to have room for improvement. That the best course of action would be to take ACA and improve it. Republicans (and their news sources as you have so clearly demonstrated) were the only ones claiming it was so bad the only option was to repeal ACA completely and replace it with something else. If you weren't so clueless, you would have had an opportunity not to stick your foot in your mouth for once.
  7. Out of curiosity, what exactly makes Hillary "evil" to you? Clearly because she runs a child slavery ring out of the basement of a pizza restaurant. Please, everybody knows that. Plus something about emails and Benghazi. But the pizza thing is by far the worst.
  8. Your President is claiming it isn't working at all and "extreme vetting" is required.
  9. Be a lot easier if you just put them in camps. Wouldn't even have to build a wall.

I believe the ACA is in trouble. Two days after the repeal and replace effort failed the news coverage turned back to the problems with O-care. Dems were tripping over themselves to get in front of microphones and say how much they wanted to work with the administration to fix O-care. NPR had a piece on the ACA last night and concluded while the program is not in imminent peril, it has real problems and if the Trump administration does not actively support it it may indeed fail. Yeah, none of this is news. There was/is pretty much nobody who would argue the ACA is currently perfect. Maybe a little less purely partisan news sources would help you.
  11. I don't think that comment is incorrect on the face of it. I think the White House has had a hand in forcing Nunes to cancel the hearings and in that sense they have stopped her for now. But, based on the documents that WaPo has published here: http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/documents/national/read-the-letters-detailing-how-sally-yates-was-blocked-from-testifying-on-russia/2390/ They did not overtly stop here. DOJ said they had to talk to White House and nothing further was required from DOJ. Yates's lawyer sent letter to WH with a deadline for response. Letter indicates (paraphrasing) if no response is received by the deadline Yates would proceed. No response was sent by the deadline.
  12. Don't worry, it will come out. There is more evidence of this than there is of Obama being Kenyan. Something you happily agreed with a followed. Nunes cancelling all hearings. Trying to gag Yates. Clapper indicating his testimony would contradict official White House statements. Rumours Trump and son-in-law are on tape talking to a Russian spy. It will all unravel. The most positive thing of that will be your exit from dropzone.com since you would rather do that than having to admit you were wrong and got conned into voting for a Russian puppet. Kushner meets with VEB. Russia says: only business was discussed. White House says: Kushner was acting as transition team official and absolutely no business was discussed. Let me help you with your response:
  13. Wait till you finally figure out you voted for a Russian puppet. I am sure that will give you some angst though I have no doubt that in a choice between a woman and a Russian you will happily vote for a Russian. You will find a way to rationalize it.
  14. Some blogs are posting that the FBI has Trump and Kushner on tape talking to a Russian spy..... This is what books are made of lol
  15. Even the Kremlin may have #tregret, since they are now threatening to release US Intel if more evidence of Trump-Russia connections come out.
  16. Right, they may say it is extremely important. Or of utmost importance. Or incredibly important. Or maybe they think it is important.

They won't take him, he has a bad ass. Don I know it didn't sound good when I said that. I just think many people in their 40s, or even 50s are more than capable. But I'm sure they have their reasons for the age limit. Anyway, sorry for the thread drift. So....no comment on being completely wrong?

Quoted from the Washington Post story provided. Yeah, you should probably read the whole article.

Her husband is portrayed as a successful business man, but she voted for Trump because of the economy. Oh well, elections have consequences.
  20. And in the meantime 30 civilians died in an airstrike against a school in Raqqa and 130 civilians died in an airstrike in Mosul but sure, the level of concern for 5 white people in London is the real global tragedy here. And on any typical day in the USA some 30 citizens are killed by their fellow gun toting citizens, but that's OK and nothing to worry about. Ya, no shit! Where are all the protests against all the inner-city shooting deaths in Chicago? Because black on black crime doesn't fit in with Jesse Jackson and his ilk's agenda. Only white on black or police brutality does. That is quite a bit of ignorance.... Have you ever even tried a simple google search on the matter? Ever typed in anti violence march Chicago and just looked at dates? Obviously not, just easier to repeat ignorance that feels truthy. But let me guess, you aren't one cause you have a black friend.
  21. Like my wife and shoes. Or my kids and video games. Or me after acquiring a nice watch. Guess we better all go to rehab.
  22. Mussolini wasn't a Nazi either. No he was a progressive/liberal "H. G. Wells, one of the most influential progressives of the 20th century, said in 1932 that progressives must become “liberal fascists” and “enlightened Nazis.” Regarding totalitarianism, he stated: “I have never been able to escape altogether from its relentless logic.” Calling for a “‘Phoenix Rebirth’ of Liberalism” under the umbrella of “Liberal Fascism,” Wells said: “I am asking for a Liberal Fascisti, for enlightened Nazis.”" Yup, thanks for making my point.
  23. So old school. Fat is good for you and Netflix is King! /s
  24. Yup, guy like Bannon is probably not overly focused on health care right now....
  25. Everything you listed has been labeled liberal fearmongering, hatred and delusion by the right wing. And while most intelligent people are worried about such things, the decisionmakers in the economy are looking to what he can actually _do._ If he cuts taxes on businesses significantly, and doubles defense spending, the short term outlook for businesses is good - and they will act accordingly. This is true even if he starts grabbing women by the pussy again and gibbering incoherently on Twitter. But if he can't get any of his initiatives passed, then it's not as good for US business. So they are going to look for actual progress (i.e. budgets passed, regulations cut) ahead of all the more subjective judgments on his competence. And while healthcare cuts are not what they care about, there is a perception that he can't make progress until this passes - and if he can't even get this passed in a 100% supportive Congress, the success of anything he tries is in doubt. Well said Bill. I fully agree.
