  1. Interesting stance from somebody who supports a party who is supposedly very concerned with taking responsibility for one's actions.
  2. A car is already a luxury item. Plus the F150, RAM Trucks and Chevy Trucks all sold more units than the Camry. Corolla was also down almost 10%. The bifurcation in retail is definitely happening. It may help you too look at a grander scale and not just at one line of luxury items. I was replying to your comment about the CAR industry. BTW the trucks you mentioned are also in the middle of the price spectrum. FYI the Corolla is at a lower end of the price spectrum. I find it amusing that you provide the data that refutes your own point. As said before, trends in one line don't negate trends in an industry. As pointed out and clarified in the comment above new cars are a luxury item to begin with. Saying that since the middle of a line of a luxury item is doing well is evidence there is no bifurcation in retail is not valid.

  4. Maybe, but your argument shows you didn't listen to the statement properly in the first place. Or just didn't understand it. Your continued attempt at justifying why you didn't catch it in the first place is humorous though.
  5. If you think there is an equivalency, lay it out. Nothing equals nothing. When Trump pulls out of NATO, cedes Ukraine to Russia and lobbies congress for ending sanctions, you will have a point. Until then it's all just tin foil hat conspiracy theory. FBI, CIA, Congressional and Senate investigations are all into tin foil hat conspiracy theories? 3 Foreign agents being employed in the Trump campaign, all back to the same foreign government is tin foil hat conspiracy theory? If I break into your house and steal nothing, did a break in never happen?
  6. Then how do you explain the late Ordovician ice age with CO2 at >2000ppm? You could read this for one theory: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0031018210002191 Not sure if Whatupwiththat has a coles notes version for you, sorry. From your link: "Here, we follow the hypothesis initiated by Barnes (2004) that an Ordovician superplume event occurred during the Middle to Late Ordovician. Such an event would not only have a large impact on the Ordovician biodiversification (Barnes, 2004) but it would also be responsible for the climatic upheaval during the Late Ordovician" As Paul Harvey used to say...."now for the rest of the story" "There is no direct evidence of a superplume event or of basaltic traps and the present study is therefore a hypothetical modelling approach..." Hypothetical modeling approach......hmmm where have I heard that before? Considering you are asking about something that took place approx. 1,000,000 YEARS ago, there is no direct evidence. Hypothetical modelling is all there is. But more importantly, where is your "direct evidence" that existence of the Ordovician ice age is evidence AGW not being possible. Or any other "direct evidence" related to whatever point you were trying to make with your one liner.
  7. No, I will not. But, I will not jump the shark here. There are other reports out there that fully contradict this so called CNN report. I think I will wait just a bit more. Kind of like I did on the Ferguson story, the Zimmerman story, and others. This is your way if waiting for more information: and: and: That is what you call waiting for more information to come out?
  8. If you think there is an equivalency, lay it out. This communist member of his cabinet was a foreign agent for which country? Not sure why you think that just because these three are former Trump staff there is no significance to any of this?
  9. Apparently the two never even met. Putin and Page likely never met either. Clearly that means that Page could never be an agent for Russia. He may or may not that goes the same from general Flynn. They are both out and have no demonstrable influence on policy. Why continue with your hair on fire. Three of his former staff have turned out to be Russian or Ukrainian foreign agents. Your reaction to this is: move along, nothing to see here. I have a hard time thinking this is all just coincidence. Specially since he didn't fire some of these guys until after it became public knowledge and not when he was told.

  11. Who knew background and reference checks were so complicated?
  12. They promised before, but now they will really promise. They know that otherwise the US will bomb non-descript areas and damage non-strategic real estate.

  14. Yes that is very, very surprising. Seems as if trump wanted to deliberately stick it to Putin. The benefits, like that of the Baltic states. Flows solely to Montenegro. But it does provide that small country with protection from the sole aggressor state in the area, Russia. It weakens Russian political influence in their "near abroad" and brings Russia arch nemesis NATO closer to its borders. Hardly a Russian friendly move. Not only that but the timing is stupid. That is not how you deal with Putin if you are serious about Syria. Like trump could not wait a week. Russia is paranoid about NATO because Russia is really the founding adversary for the organization. Montenegro is a pipsqueak country but the treat that Russia perceives is the stationing of NATO troops in the border countries. Tillerson better put on the charm if he asks Russia for something. He must have considering he is meeting with Putin himself.
  15. Carter Page was an early advisor on Foreign Policy brought into the campaign by Jeff Sessions. Carter Page in a speech also referenced the Rosneft deal prior to the Steele Dossier coming out. He acknowledged meeting Rosneft prior to the dossier coming out. he has denied it ever since. RT caries the same interview, but has the admission "voiced over".
  16. You mean right after it comes out that Nunes information was bullshit? And it comes out there is a FISA warrant on Carter Page?
  17. Are you talking about Trump's reset button? Or Trump's idle "Red Line" threat? Or how Trump refused to take action against Russia's ally Syria for war crimes? Oh you must mean when he told Russia "I will have more flexibility after my election". Or when Putin told him not to deploy a European missile defense system and he complied? I didn't know Obama was running for President in the last election. No the architect of his "Russian Reset" was. So your argument is that Clinton has been very good to Russia and therefore there is no possibility that Putin/Russia favoured Trump over Clinton? Based on all the subsequent (circumstantial) evidence that has since come out, that is still your position?
  18. Hopefully my wifi would work long enough to see if I can find an "article" on whatsupwiththat.com

  20. Pfff, not like he said it during Passover or anything.... Wait..
  21. Rush will be silent until the next right wing blog post tells him what to think.
  22. There imaginations change so often that if you wait a couple of days they will be able to imagine it again.
  23. A lot of the chemical weapons were already removed with Russia's involvement. Perhaps Putin can be convinced that removing the rest of them is the right thing to do. Short answer... maybe. It is up to Putin. So that was the big strength of this action? Maybe now Putin will help?
  24. Russia was supposedly already working on that. You think these missiles now make Russia amore willing participant?
