this might be the most obscure of them all. steve martin and terri garr did a ten minute skit called THE ABSENT MINDED WAITER i will try and find a link somewhere...maybe someone has it. it's freakin' hilarious.

does anyone remember 'funny farm' with chevy chase? eating 50 lamb fries---aka deep fried lamb testacles. corny movie....back when chevy was funny during the fletch days

i dated a p.t. for two years and it's something you might not think about right away, but they get sore from their jobs. they are on their feet all day and use their bodies non-stop. trust me she will love it! i would on occasion treat her to an hour with a great soft tissue therapist....probably right in your price range of 75 beans.

wow....thanks skymama!

in my humble opinion and experience...if it's too good to be true then more than likely it is. something is fishy...why doesn't he just buy all the gear off here that is reasonably priced and then do it himself?

can someone help me understand this a bit better please? i'm looking into some investment properties and really want to grasp this concept completely. if mortgage interest rates are solely based on the 10 year t-bill then why do the media outlets constantly talk about mortgage interest rates potentially rising when prime goes up half a point? prime is what the banks get their money for....so how in the heck does that influence the 10 year t-bill directly or indirectly. i don't think the housing boom in florida can sustain itself forever and i want to be on top of this big time before i commit. people are going nuts down here to buy anything....it's good but i can't last forever. thanks in advance?

another very good point. i specifically ask questions that i know people won't have an answer to just to hear how they might react to a customer when confronted with that scenario. my referral to learning the art of b.s. is directed at....telling them you are a team player that LOVES to work nights and weekends...etc. there is absolutely nothing wrong with not knowing the answer to a question, but trying to blow through it can take you out.

jeremy, i would be happy to give you some pointers as i'm actually helping a young lady on this forum with her resume. i have been through it all....first interview to good interviewer to learning the art of b.s. to being the interviewer. if you could let me know what industry that would be helpful. one constant shared across all specialties is this: corporate america wants team players, not individuals. YES you will move anywhere. YES you will work late and weekends. get my drift? it doesn't always work out that way, but if you don't play their game and hit the correct buzz words you are dead before it starts. i played that game for ten years and learned a ton, but now i do my own thing and am having a blast . i hated being a team player b/c it never pays off....10% of the people do 90% of the work in corporate america. other than the u.s. government it's the premiere model of inefficiency. however, you can make a fine living within those confines. i'm look at myself as a mercenary....i'm in it for me and if the company makes money and the stock goes ballistic b/c of that then yahooo, but i'm not in it for the collective good. call me selfish, but NO ONE looks out for you in corporate america. the reason i tell you this is so that you can arm yourself with the right ammunition in the interview. if you want to shoot me an email with specs i can help ya further. best of luck to you. also, excellent stuff by TUMBLER above.

To bite, or to be bitten . . . that is the question.

yea, you have made my otherwise crappy day a funny one. if i hear this numb nutz say 'paradigm shift' or 'our evolving business model' one more time i'm gonna blow a gasket. i am a picture dummy...anyone think they can show a brotha how to shrink pics down to the 100kb size limit? -

dear god stop it i'm trying to listen to a conference call and not bust out....i am new to this forum and i'm figuring out some of the funniest people on earth inhabit this sick, sick place. I LOVE IT!!! please corrupt me....you can start with some nibbling -
that is exactly who is at risk....the longer you are out there the more ya slug. if memory serves the catalyst that threw the boston marathoner into cardiac arrest was an i.v. drip. she looked sick and ems figured she was dehydrated....voila.

ok, i am reading your sig JUMPCHIKK....i want to know what dz you work at b/c if there is jizz to be mopped up i am gonna throw my ticket to you rather than hand it! maybe get one of those drawers that slide under the plexiglass at the not so nice gas stations so they can't get robbed king of thing. honestly, that is one of the funniest things i have read on here and i was snorting out loud hysterically. funny! -
good observation. let's not forget where putin's roots are....this guy was a mid level kgb floozie. feel free to correct me, but personal advancement through monetary gain is not of vital importance in the communist manifesto. i have absolutely ZERO proof that this oil tycoon did anything wrong....or anything right. however, it seems a big koinkydink that putin slapped down the first guy to make a statement to the world that YES you can escape the poverty and subsistence levels provided by the russian government. i doubt anyone outside of the russian government and that courtroom will ever know exactly what he did wrong if anything, beyond the shadow of a doubt. my gut feeling.....and that is all it is...is that putin feels as if it's 'his' oil and by god no one is going to get rich off of it without paying a penalty, in this case prison.

c'mon now...are you 'alive and kickin' with simple minds? 'everybody wants to rule the world' wit some tears for fears these days!

it's called hyponatremia and yes it can happen....more often than you think. i have run competitively my entire life and have been at a race where it happened.....'02 boston marathon. a former member of my college triathlon club died from it in a marathon in 1991. in short, the blood sodium levels are dangerously lowered due to over hydration casing swelling in the brain....seizures and cardiac arrest are most often the result. as far as your co-worker, that is horrible and i'm sorry for your loss, but it sounds like he was on a mission and it would have been something else if not for alcohol. the last thing i want is the government controlling one more aspect of my life.

nah, not yet, but specifically what i'm talking about is pics that are taken hands free. check out the attachement here.....great view!

i have no desire to get in to video or stills, but have always wondered how people are able to rig a camera....on the leg or foot i deduce from the angle....for those shots. i have seen some spectacular looking photos on the icarus site for the crossfire 2. how is it done?
