probably not too hot if you are polling it. just to bust your bawlz....the verizon boys are laying fiber optic cable down the street. can you say 15 Mbps down/2 Mbps up?

we put an enormous amount of trust in machines and sometimes they break. yes they were getting to the upper limits of the faa certification for the CRJ, but they were still 'in the envelope'. could have had contaminated fuel or any number of things. does anyone know if the faa published ceilings are calculated for a full fuel/passenger load? if that is the case then 41K should have been a breeze since they were sans passengers/baggage.

i just received my brand new dell DVI widescreen monitor and i'm sick of looking at my own pics on here. anyone have some picturesque BASE photos from around the world they would be willing to share? i have seen a few cliff pics from norway that are just beautiful, but wanted to see if anyone had some hi-res pics. thanks

i'm definitely thinking gerhard schröder was at one time in charge of the DMV in germany. here is an idea for chancellor schroder....put license plates on the front of all motorcycles yea, it had to be him.

he was so explosive and powerful in his early days. i can't imagine what it would have been like to face off with that guy in his prime. i would do a running swan dive over the ropes into the crowd and hope for the best rather than try and dodge that howitzer!

yea, i agree he has made a public statement. he can say what he wants, but he still acts like a child. did you watch the fight? he openly admitted he head butted mcbride b/c 'i was desperate to win'. once again proving he has the self-control of a pre-school child. adults KNOW right from wrong and make a conscious decision to do the right thing. talk is....talk. we might have different views on how we evaluate people's behavior. i look at what people do and put much less emphasis on what they say.....b/c in my book talk truly is cheap. anyone can say what they want, but until you do it then it's meaningless. i am happy he has recognized his shortcomings, but now it's time to actually do something about them. i'm rooting for him and hope he comes around.

i'm surprised anyone cares. this guy is truly the example of how not to live life. i understand he had a horrible childhood, but he can't continue to live on that excuse the rest of his life. at some point he needs to step up and accept responsibility for his actions and become an adult male...right now he is still a child. truly sad. i sure hope he gets things right with his kids bless their hearts.

that is great to hear about mr....i mean officer deuce! i'm not a point the finger kind of guy, just don't want to see a man get slammed for something avoidable. it's funny how each state has different little nuances. as a florida resident we have fairly good reciprocity with other states...mostly the yankee states up north.

http://www.packing.org/state/index.jsp/california hey deuce, give a good read. just looking out for a fellow skydiver. in cal you must register your handgun with the state police. basic NRA courses are great to take regardless of your skill or familiarity with firearms b/c they will familiarize you with the specific state laws as they all differ. in your state it's a felony....whew.

my range has been +5 older and -12 younger. as long as there is chemistry and good communication then i say run with it. relationships are risky: you can get hurt, rejected and just plain screwed over. gotta learn to roll with it. everybody has ample opprotunity to be the dumpee or the dump-er in life...brilliant use of the english language i know bottom line is i love women in all shapes, sizes and ages. when i look at a woman and she looks back and it's on there is nothing like it in the world and that is all that matters when it's all said and done.....attraction is NOT a choice........in my humble opinion. i just broke up with a freakin' loon a couple of weeks ago that was nearly my age and it didn't work at all. i have been hanging with a girl 10 years younger--i'm 33 and she is 23 and it's crazy fun....running with it regardless.

if you are worried about neighbors try a shotgun maybe. i grew up out in the sticks and didn't have to worry about strays as much, but the 'ol 11-87 with 00 buck is a great way to get rid of the pests and you don't even have to clean up...just an occasional eyeball left over. it's unreal what deer shot will do...scary stuff. definitely not as much fun as the pistol though.

that is funny you bring that up b/c three of my friends have all had new additions recently(tampa). i can calculate conception on all of them between 'charlie' and 'ivan'. the latest one was partially blamed on me b/c i took his little girls to bush gardens so they could have some mommy/daddy time...i'm off the hook! of course they are only kidding me, but i never thought about it like that. all these hurrican babies sure are cute

went to their 4th of july boogie way back when....99 i think. just a complete blast is all i can say. some of the nicest people i have encountered anywhere....not to mention they had 3 casa's. no waits....as fast as you can spend your money. -
***If you didn't feel good about giving it to the attendant maybe you could have given him your contact info and let him know if anyone comes looking for something they lost to give them your info. yea, had i been thinking clearly that would have been the best solution. i hadn't slugged my first cup of java at the time so the cobwebs in my head were still fairly thick.

yep. i don't think you 'get away' with anything in this world. my personal feeling is that had i taken it....some time down the road it would have come back to me in a negative way. personally, i think mr. gas man should look out for falling asteroids! maybe his conscience will eat at him and he will try and find the rightful owner.

so i'm on vacation today and i took my boat to the marina to gas it up in a freakin' sideways rain storm. i tie off the bow cleat and look up to find a lump of cash on the gas dock folded in half like you would find in a money clip. i am assuming someone dropped it in a hurry to escape the rain while gassing up. so i'm thinking....they will miss it and come back tracking and find it. dilemma: keep it or turn it in to the gas dock attendant. being the good samaritan i turn it in and i get this look from the guy like 'are you nucking futz?' immediately i think i've made a mistake giving it to him by his expression and reaction. i ask him if anyone has pumped yet today and he said yes two peole had. it's a small marina on a little island so most people know each other. this numb nutz has probably bought a dime bag with it already. what would you have done? i wanna see if i'm runnin' alone on this. waiting for the lightning and rain to stop!!

that really sucks. ya get used to having them around and then they are gone....they are really like famliy members. i used labs for duck hunting and man when you spend that much time with them and then it's over... brutal. i look back on them even more fondly than some of my relatives! that ferrett was a cute little bugger.

has your girlfriend called the cops yet for assault with a deadly weapon! wait for a rainy day next time and chase her around the house all day. probably one of the best days i have ever had in my life was when i took one on a rainy saturday and god we were both laughing hysterically by the end of the day....albeit a little sore, but extremely satisfied. enjoy it....modern medicine is a wonderful thing

not sure about levels of caffeine in coke vs. coffee. i am a healthy eater, but have become a coffee junkie in the morning. here is what i can tell you: that the mayo clinic did a great study on this some time ago. in short, caffeine increases cortisol levels. increased cortisol levels stimulate appetite. many dietary supplements have caffeine in them, but it's a short term thing b/c caffeine is a diuretic and dehydrates you. caffeine can also trigger hypogycemia which will increase your appetite big time. doesn't seem to ring true with you.....so, maybe you are just a busy girl and need to feed the furnace!

Yeah, and these guys probably say to you "WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?" Actually, it looks like the guy's wierd, and the chick is simply attracted to wierd. No tattoos - no commitment. there IS no commitment there is there? nothing says i love you like a pair of nipple rings chained together on a dog leash right?! hard as i try not to judge what i see.....that is some seriously weird stuff for this country boy to process.
