    Quality shit. I'm sort of stuck between wanting to see the Flock and Dock vid as soon as possible and wanting you to take your sweet time to make another A++ kick-ass FnD vid.

    Geez, 400 jumps, 1 year in the sport, 60 wingsuit jumps... good luck with that. I have about 240 wingsuit jumps and use a 1.1 loaded Hornet(pretty much just like a pilot). I don't deploy cleanly, don't pack cleanly, and I love my stable rock solid canopy.

    Definite props to the flock organizers for keeping the event both fun and safe. Also ZHills did an amazing job of organizing the loads and did real well in making sure there was enough packing space, food and beer available for both the flockers and flat flyers attending the event. If you couldn't make it this year, mark your calenders for it next year, as it's definitely the wingsuiting event to be at in the US and next year should be even bigger and better.

    Wow, that sucks. Obviously it shouldn't take that long to have a suit made. I ordered my Mach One from Tonysuits on a Sunday and it was done by Friday on that same week. Now Tony has been making other types of suits forever so he knows how to put them out quickly, but still, 5 months for a wingsuit?

    I don't think Omar's against flocking, it's just the large 50-60 ways that can be a drag sometimes. But I don't think there will be a huge focus on the big way, should be lot's of "smaller" 10-20 ways And ZHills has always been the place for non-Floridians to come down and get their flock on. 8-10 ways are a normal weekend thing at the DZ and if you're an outsider in a wingsuit we'll drag you kicking and screaming onto the flocks.

    Sounds like a complicated solution to a pretty much non-existant problem. You'll still have to sign and initial a waiver no matter what and filling an address, USPA and license number on the same form hardly requires a central database of information. And for the 2-3% of skydiving websites that use auth, they're likely using it for sales which will use a shopping cart that won't integrate with your system anyway.

    As soon as medical costs become reasonable, then everyone can pay for their own fuck ups. But until that point, people just need to deal with sucking up the costs involved with other people getting sick or hurt. Part of living in a society is supporting the community. If someone doesn't like that, they're free to live on a mountain top or a remote island somewhere.

    Sounds like there will be quite a few people going early. I took off Thurs/Friday for it, so I'll be there Thurs morning. There will probably be more flocking to do prior to Sat/Sunday, since there won't be any planning around the big way before then. Just a lot of fun with small dirty flocks rushing to make the next load.

    I think the term is "slider rebound", which is what may have happened. Could've been something else that caused it, but packing error is probably a solid guess.
