    So let's compare that to a common family restaurant. I looked up the menu at the Red Robin's in Canton, OH, which I gather is in your general region of Ohio. Sorry, the link won't copy, but you can look it up for yourself. Anyhow, the prices for various burgers & stuff at the Canton RR are more or less in line with those at Gott's. You really need to quitcher bitchin'. Comrade.

    Depends upon your point of view. After my dad had both knees replaced, he really liked not having to out & pump his own gas. You too will get old ( maybe ), Jerry Bamchen Timewuz, attendants pumped your gas everywhere. Then when self-serve started up, some places would charge you a higher price if you got the attendant to pump it - attendant service was considered a luxury. Today's generation of younger adults have been sufficiently indoctrinated to view what was a luxury as an inconvenience. Brilliant strategy by the industry.

    Admission is not infrequently unreliable, for various case by case reasons. (Re: tape, I presume you mean video of the actual act, thus eliminating all doubt about the physical act.) For discussion's sake, let's assume a situation of zero doubt as to either physical guilt or the perp's state of mind, no mitigating circumstances, and plenty of aggravating circumstances. I'd still oppose the DP, not out of any bleeding heart for the perp, but because I feel it reduces society to the level of the murderer. As an individual, especially if the victim was a loved one, my raw emotions would kick in, and I'd want to see him fry. But organized society is supposed to operate on a higher level than the mere individual.

I will bet you dollars to donuts Tom Cotton could not find Iran on a map. But, that simply doesn't matter. He got his name out there and made more money. Then Biden must be filthy rich......     Huh. Well the other thing you can do with android phones is get a larger battery and a case mod so it'll fit. Makes the phone a bit fatter, but that might be worth double the battery life in some cases! my daughter has one of those too. did i mention she has her cell phone implanted into her cerebral cortex?

    Does anyone actually do that? My one daughter does & swears by it. I wish i could convince my stubborn wife to do it. She burns thru her battery daily (don't ask ) & in the evening when we need to coordinate she's always "phone about to die."

    Although some might argue that the solve for that would be to get an iPhone, since they don't randomly freeze up. Ever? (I really don't know). The other thing an easy pop out battery does is it lets you have more than 1 battery on hand so when your charge is low you can just quickly switch out a fresh battery instead of having to recharge. Great convenience when you're on the run.
