  1. Nobody's listening to you, Dave. Look at these geniuses, even immediately after your post: "You can't beat these prices!!" - all they want is cheap jumps, instant gratification and no thought process. And, since it's virtually guaranteed that they're still young enough to be bullet-proof, they don't have to worry about what happens at 600 feet on the way up. Hey, they're wearing parachutes, right?
  2. Every time there are budget cuts anywhere (federal, state, local, corporate, whatever), people always bitch and weep about their favorite ox getting gored. It's just the flip side of the same coin that gives us the "NIMBY" mentality. Suck it up, people.
  3. Bill Gates can spend his money however he chooses. All I ask is that he pays his taxes AT LEAST at the same rate as middle class taxpayers and not at some preferred low rate only accessible to the extremely wealthy. And in fact - to address the concern about "giving back" to those who "gave him all his money" - (ironically, a very Socialist, almost Communist, sentiment, considering the source), when the wealthy pay taxes on ALL their income (including "capital gains") at a rate no lower than what middle-classers pay on their income from ordinary employment adn wages, they ARE giving back to the country that gave them the opportunity to earn that kind of wealth in the first place.
  4. You got your facts wrong (again), you got called on it (again), and now you're just dancing.

    Juicing

    That really bugs me.
  6. Just to piss you, Marc and a bunch of other people off. I'm not pissed off. I think he just made himself look like a total jackass. Why is that? he represents exactly what the control freaks want. They want to restrict the rights and choices and thoughts of OTHER people. it doesn't apply to them personally. I think he's the poster child.' Probably drinks 33 oz sodas too. And that's not really his own scalp; he wears a bald-cap. Poser.
  7. I'd recommend a seasoned brine. Nah, vinegar. Pickle em! With their 3-martini lunches, they're already pickled.
  8. Hi there! I'm so glad you're OK from your incident at Lodi. Do you mind if we continue the discussion we had in this thread in 2008? Have your thoughts on tert reserves for CRW (or anyone) evolved at all since then? Look forward to your thoughts.
  9. I had no idea that they were subcategorizing the entire group of "hat bullies" in the first place.... nor, for that matter, "ass bullies"
  10. For the same reason England still has a queen. Why not? Good point... Though she has no governing power nor influence, if any. She has fashion sense.
  11. For the same reason England still has a queen. Why not? Admit the deficiency of your analogy, and repent. ETA- I'd call it more akin to Skymama vs. Billvon. Sooner or later, blood will flow.
  12. You're all so agreeable. Who ever heard of "concurrable"?
  13. Because neither side has sufficient power to impose absolute authority.
  14. Part of the universal human experience is that people will find any and every excuse they can to shit on their rivals. At its core, politics is all about people, even if veiled and couched in terms of issues. The clerics who are shocked and outraged are, in larger part, his political rivals. So we in the West find it odd. I imagine people in Asia or Africa don't quite understand why Americans could possibly care so much about how often Dan Quayle or Obama played golf, or whether Reagan used to wear jodphurs and riding boots at his ranch.
  15. I've always found that such a cute euphemism.
  16. His crocodile tears are the equivalent of a brine. Op cit.
  17. I'd recommend a seasoned brine.
  18. Wrong. He's being tried in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York under U.S. federal law, not New York law. Please check your facts before you blow it out your ass.
  19. You've completely twisted and mischaracterized what he said. Not a very good way to advance the cause of persuasion.
  20. You get "credit" (establishing, for example, eligibility for licenses or ratings) for any skydive you can prove occurred. The most traditional way of doing so is with a log book (or similar paper record) with (long story short) each of your jumps signed-off by another licensed skydiver. It's always been that way since Fred Flinstone was a student. Sometimes electronic records (like from the memory of an audible altimiter, etc.) and/or DZ manifest records may substitute under certain circumstances, and depending on who it is who requires the proof, and for what purpose.
  21. why dont you just come over and see? Oh yeah? Why don't you make me?
  22. Hey, start your own gun thread. This is a rape thread. Jeez, people, focus.
  23. That's fascinating. Of course, I was responding to a death penalty remark.
