  1. calm is smooth smooth is fast slow is slow The first skydiving instructional book I ever bought, as a student jumper back in the 70s, was Sport Parachuting by Charles Ryan . I don't think I have it any more, but in the chapter on competition "turning style", I remember it offered the following advice (I'm working from memory, so it's not a precise quite, but it's close): The way to go fast is not to try to go fast, it's to have complete control over every component of what you're doing, and the speed will be the natural result. I think that same principle applies to competition RW.
  2. I would guess not many, here in Utah the police violate our constitutional rights on a regular basis. Regardless of the letter I am sure many of the cops here would have no problem with it, especially the UHP which is known for being thugs and bullies. Irony score +100 - the fascists calling the commie a fascist. Only in America.
  3. The guy killed was the head of a prison and you post a Subject line like this??? Great, we now know how much distance there is between you and honesty In fairness to the OP, the Reuters story linked in the OP does describe it as a possible targeted killing due possibly to the eve of the signing of the gun law - so he's really just repeating what the story says. In fairness to you, I saw nothing in the Reuters story that reflected any evidence of that conclusion other than speculation. So, I checked out some other MSM stories, and they refrained (I think properly) from making the same presumption, even citing some other tough decisions he'd made in office that might have given someone a grudge. Reuters is a very well-respected, established international news agency. I'm frankly surprised and disappointed the editors would have allowed the story to have been published that way.
  4. First of all, you're basically speaking in tongues at this point. Second, you now want us to believe the US govt is hoarding up not only .223 ammo but now shotgun shells, too. OK, right... Third: http://s1.hubimg.com/u/830988_f520.jpg
  5. Cite them. Translation: you're making it up.
  6. I know when you make shit up because you don't take the time to look it up. Now you're twisting your original conspiratorial point (in other threads), which was that the govt was supposedly trying to buy-up all the ammo to make it so scarce it would make the weapons obsolete. I have no objection to your advocacy of Second Amendment rights. I object to your constantly making shit up because there's a hull breach in your foil hat.
  7. As has already been pointed out to you in other threads: You're making it up.
  8. That's assuming a purely hypothetical assailant would choose to engage in hand to hand combat. But the same Constitution that protects the WBC also hypothetically enables hypothetical people to use other hypothetical methods. Hypothetically. I'm just surprised it hasn't happened yet. Agreed. Hypothetically.

  10. There are lots of anonymous users here. Yes, John; we've lost count of how many times you've said this through your various sock puppets. Seriously? It's really worth it to you to take the time and effort to keep doing this? Sad, really.
  11. The "Family Research Council" might as well be an official publication of the Taliban. Stop tampering with the jury.

So who reads 55 pages of legalese? Same as those who do gear checks. Spoken like a lawyer. I'll send you my bill.

  14. Fair point - just like political "pundits" who say outrageous shit to get their name back in the news whenever their "brand" is getting stale; for them, there is no bad publicity. As an aside, I'm still rather amazed that nobody, so far, has used violence to act-out any anger toward WBC yet.
  15. It's a very interesting model; most worthy of serious discussion, based upon thought, reflection and mature demeanor.
  16. So as we see, there are quite a few scientific studies, so the jury is not "out". You just presumed it, and posted it without looking it up. Again.
  17. Really? I was at the Houston Gun Show this past weekend...you are incorrect. Psst...he made it up, without bothering to look it up. Again.
  18. The Supreme Court already showed a willingness to do that in DC v. Heller.
  19. Too late. ManagingPrime already LOL'd me.
  20. On can only hope. Both parties provide endless amusement and the gun debates growing a little stale. It's only stale because there are no fresh bodies, dammit.
  21. I had to just laugh at Apple CEO Tim Cook holding a news conference on the eve of the latest Android's release, bashing the product. As if publicly being a whiny prison bitch is going to help Apple's sales and hurt Samsung's. I felt like kicking him in his non-existent nuts.
  22. The old "I knew that but I was just joking" cover story. Worn, but still useful. Fine. The 45 degree rule works. Hhahahahahahah!! There.
