  1. Biblical scholar that he is, Ron is doubtlessly familiar with Leviticus Chapter 24. Or, one might derive guidance from the Equal Protection Clause of the US Constitution. Either way, it pretty much works out the same.
  2. Nope. But there's a sub-species of morons that frequent SC-type sites and blogs, who generally can barely string two sensible sentences together, and just barf the word "liberal" out, in any context. I think the Brits refer to it as "wanking".
  3. Depends. When corporations post earnings reports and trends for investors, they're referred to as "forward looking statements", and US law gives them a safe harbor against liability. Neat trick, eh? (Who do you suppose got Congress to write the safe harbor laws?)
  4. Hey, how many dead babies does it take to steal a negligee? What, too soon?
  5. Uhmm, no. It usually works the other way around. See, if I claim that unicorns that piss champagne live in the centre of the earth, that doesn't become fact until you prove that they don't. Typical liberal thinking. You saying that something that is proven not to exist is fact of it existing. Your statement says that only after I disprove them living at the center of the earth does it become fact that they do. Typical liberal. Are you competing with RonD in that "special" category? Give it up; he's far better at it than you are.

  7. If they're so intelligent why haven't they learned how to fight back? Yeah, and they can't even drive. Dumbasses.
  8. The point was to respond to the slander of Dems never serving and Repubs never draft dodging. Read the fucking thread next time before blowing it out your ass.
  9. Oh, that. I think He was looking in His mirror at the time.

  13. Yawn. I'm waiting for you to defend Bush & Quayle's physical cowardice and de facto draft dodgery. Throw Cheney into the mix, too, while you're at it.
  14. I'm living among society and am fully engaged. As opposed to certain others, who are hunkered in their imaginary Ruby Ridge. That being said, in all fairness, at age 71 you certainly have the right to retire to whatever peace & quiet you choose. Kerry turns 70 in 2 months. He's spending his 7th decade his way, as you are spending yours your way.
  15. But enough about your qualifications to shine Kerry's shoes. I'm still eager to see you defend the spoiled cowards Bush Jr. and Quayle.
  16. Fargin hippies. I hung out with the AD and combat vets. Hey that's great. Of course, Kerry actually was a combat vet.
  17. Yes, they are called draft dodgers. Do they have reunions? If so, what do they talk about? Draft dodgers like Dan Quayle and Geo W Bush, who cowered in the National Guard while John Kerry dodged real bullets in real combat? Well, we already know what they chose to talk about. Yep, quite a stand they took, hiding from combat without risk of prosecution. At least Clinton openly admitted that Nixon's military could kiss his ass. God, I love that man.
  18. In a culture and economic war, where the front lines are where the people are, running away to a relatively secluded place you call "a place to make a stand" is not making a stand; it's still running away.
  19. It's been going on in the present US since prior to 1776. The US Civil War from 1881-85 was, in part - a large part - a culture war.
  20. Neither does "douchebag". Hey, I was just trying to reason it out...

    Great motel!!!

What about "at least cleaner than a gas station rest room"? I'm cool with camping outdoors, done that a whole lot; but when I'm indoors a motel room, I don't want to have to wear flip-flops in the shower.
