perhaps we could land into a massive amount of energy absorbing material, such as fresh whipped cream. REAL whipped cream made with plenty of nitrous oxide. :-) Rob Tonnesen "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" -Anais Nin

Hey Andy! Is that a new record that beats the 19-way flock record over Sebastian in 2001? Was it tight enough for a record, or was it simply 27 wing suiters having a blast together? -Rob Rob Tonnesen "And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" -Anais Nin

same as what everyone else has said, but on the high speed passes be sure to tighten your goggles to the max. that way you will clearly see the top skins of the CASA's wings as you rise above them. nobody will believe you, so wear video! I was unsure where to post this in the classified section, so it's here where we all meet. I have a Skyflyer, in new condition, colors are white body with gray wings i think. Made for flyer around 5'9", 190 pounds, athletic build. Make offer or stop by Mirage booth at WFFC. Mirage and Wings do the mod. however, the mod is not needed if you are deploying properly. Also, after not too many pack jobs, the main container area stretches out and starts to look bad, because there are no corners to help hold its original shape. all you really need is a bridle about 100" long. there are so many things we are playing with these days. covering maximum distance, extending flight times (I heard Yuri recently broke 3 minutes from normal altitude), finding and flying thermals, 3D flock dives, multiple docks, flying by open canopies (preplanned), docking on open canopies (definitely preplanned), high altitude jumps giving 4 1/2 minutes of flight, etc. the sport is still very young, and many of us are learning and experimenting with everything and anything. i've done high speed CASA loads where my bird-man suit created so much lift that i flew well above the plane for a few seconds. the possibilities are endless...come join us! I attended a meeting recently with Jari from Bird-Man and Scott Smith from Perris. There are very cool Bird-Man events planned for the last weekend of September, including distance contests and pylon racing. Pylon racing is in the pre-testing stages and will be similar to freefly pylon racing, but with a much slower fall rate. Mark your calendars now and be sure to come out to Perris for this ground breaking event. FFI please contact Scott Smith at Perris. June 29, at Lake Elsinore CA, with top DJ's Jody Moore and Dave Singer mixing all night long! Most of you know Jody and Dave from skydiving and now from THE SOURCE RECORDS in Oceanside. e-mail me for the party details.

Bill Stampfle is one of the three at Elsinore. Nobody here has covered the small hole when not flying belly video. It's more of a vertical slit than a round hole, and it's no more than 2" long.

We have the fortune of having two top DJ's for our Bird-Man party! Dave Singer and Jody Moore, both famous in music and skydiving circles will be mixing music and great vibes all night for us!
