I'm so glad you made it! Yeah! {{Hopping up and down whistling really loudly!}} Congrats! How was your first passenger? Did you tell him/her that they were your first? Since you asked... LOL.... I didn't tell him about the first until we landed, he didn't believe me... On the plane ride up I was scared shitless and checked the gear about 1000 times and ran EP's though my head. On the outside I tried to calm my passenger and try to make it fun(Jon and Todaks advice works). At the door; I thought of you being a bad passenger and I changed from being scared to determined, that Sweed wasn't going mess up the exit even if he tried. (he did great and arched like a good student) On the initial opening (with lots of line twists) He was yelling in his Swedish accent at the top of his lungs. At first I thought the harness smashed his nuts or something but soon realized it was uncensored excitement of the sky dive. What a feeling to be right there and experience his first jump with him, it was like being on my first jump all over again just not as nervous. Under Canopy; After making some slight adjustments to the canopy (kicking the shit out of line twists so I could fly it) Jon's press play stuff took over. Thanks Jon. We practiced a few flares at which point I wasn't to excited about letting him help us land so i gave him an option to practice some more or if he wanted me to take care of it so he could enjoy the ride. He was so damn excited he didn't care what the heck we did.

Congrats Rosie, I think you'll become a good TI. Now bring that case of (GOOD!) beer out Friday night. Lang Cherry Porter is mighty tasty. Also, tandems are showing at 7:30 AM Saturday, you get to shadow me, Noe, and Bill training each of the groups, and you have 6 tandem students and at least a couple packjobs awaiting you in addition to helping whoever else needs radio, coach jumps, etc. Welcome to the chaos. I figure you'll be punch drunk by the end of your 3rd beer Saturday night. Blues, Dave What you talking about Willis, Pack jobs on a tandem rig. Do I need to tip the packers more?? I have three 60'+ trees in my front yard and they keep poping up little sucker trees all over my yard. How the heck do you keep them from coming up without killing the trees?? LMAO!!! No all nighters here. I'm trying to get stuff done ahead of time - like the 10 page paper due in a month that will be mostly done by Monday - and keep up on the reading so I don't have to cram for tests. I was in the same boat for my second class in Eng physics the proff said he would provide all the formulas that we needed on the test. When test day came he gave every one in the class an 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper with F = ma printed on it in about 72 font. He thought it was funny and I felt like craming the paper up his ass. Sure you can derive everything you need from that fundlemental formula (eventualy) although when faced with time contsrants and the stress of a tests proffs need to get realistic.
