When has a fart not been funny. Think about it, even when your kids letr rip they laugh. I fart if I feel like it, and I identify myself and apoligize. While I laugh my f-n head off. The only time I will hold back, is if everyone in the plane has more jumps then me. That happens on a regular basis at my DZ. At national in Chicago my 4-way team was out just before the team that won intermediate class. We knew each other and were joking and farting all the way up. One of those guys told me later that it was because of that relaxed uninhibited environment that they felt they were able to win. So I think if you hold back to much you wont do as well. Viva la fart. We have developed a rating system at my home DZ. If only you can tell that you let one go, it's a 1. If you make others gag or vomit it's a 9. The only way to pull a perfect 10 is to make yourself gag. Now thats bad. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

You can read as much as you want, but it's hands on that really gives you the knowledge your after. So handing..., hanging out at the loft is going to get you what you want. Good Luck. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I thought I might have been a little to nice about it. Thanks. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I jump because I can't live without it. I am an addict. I am a rigger, Pilot, instructor, vidographer, jumper. I love it more then anything else. The people are like a family, the DZs are like my fortress of solitude. I think I already invited you to my place in WI. I cant wait to see ya. Ask for Todd. HPDBs, I hate those guys. Keep laughing, America does this, and maybe a few other countries. But no one else. So where is that going to leave us in another 50 years. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

It has been 14 years, 9 month, 22 days, 20 hours and 11 min since I had any free weekends. I can't help sorry. The suggestions made here sound good if you want to do something besides go to the DZ. My question is why?? HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

This Girls got it figured out. Often times in this sport, you learn things through osmosis. Being at the DZ, hearing the stuff we talk about. Thats a big part of becoming a better skydiver. come out and just listen, ask questions. Thats the way to do it. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

Welcome to the world of home ownership. It's a nice place..., lots of fun..., but not as much as skydiving. I'm going to the dropzone now instead of doing home stuff. 3-2-1 seeya. Congrates HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I was holding back...., Big time! HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

dude, please dont get me started. the human race has gotten progressively dumber, and now there are laws to protect the humans from theirselves. i can go on all freakin day about this kind of shit so im leaving now.......... Unfortunately, it is not the human race that is getting progressively dumber, it is the civilized countries of the world. Those countries that are under developed still live in a Darwinian environment. We have stopped evolving here, but they have not. One day they will rule because they will continue to get smarter and faster while we continue to breed in genetic disease and defect, until we are all F-ed up. Just look at skydiving. It used to be a "only for the strong" sport, That was because you had to be physically supreme and quick thinking to survive. Now anyone can do it, no matter what the infirmity. We have evolved to a level that cannot be supportive of evolution. It's sad but true. We are Rome before the fall. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

Does it bother you if someone does not respond to you??

I respond if I can, I love to read my own E-mails. I like to chat, I love to here other opinions. I know that my opinion will eventually be proven correct, so the more talk before that point just makes the end sweeter. We were talking about arrogant bastards right. Oh forget that first stuff . Yes that bothers me to. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member. -
Hey Rick, welcome to the greatest sport on the planet. I agree with Doug, all the places he mentioned are great. It all depends on what your after. SC and C-land are the bigger more professional places. East troy is different in that it is smaller, giving them the ability to be a little more homee. I have dealt with all these DZs and found them to be very well run and lots of fun. I am from a small club, so I am very biased towards East Troy. I like the smaller DZ feel, it is easier to make friends and more fun to just show up and jump at. I have only been to these places as a experienced skydiver so you should continue to fish for some student views. Once you get through AFF, I would like to invite you up to Skydive Wissota in Chippewa Falls WI.. We jump all year round non stop HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

The tandem was a start..., now you begin down the next path. It only gets better from here. You can never find a place to be free from the sport once it has you. Skydiving gives you a high like no other. I have the perfect way to describe the sport to none skydivers. Those who do can not explain and those who don't can not understand. You can try till your blue in the face and they will never get it. It is simply to profound an experience. Like I said it only gets better from here. Welcome HPDBs, I hate those guys. There has been a limited civil war going on in that part of the world since long long before the coming of christ-I use the term only to establish of time line-. The lifestyles of the middle-easterners have kept them in the stone ages. We have evolved to a moral high ground that the rest of the world cannot except. I think we need to leave them to reach this higher plain without our help. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

That was beautiful. I never realized in the many years of talking to you and chris at the WFFC,That you were such a poet. This is very well written, Good Job. I just made it into the 60s, May 17, 1969 but I fit the profile to the T. I have two kids, and no video games. We live in the country, and they have to ride their bikes or walk (we cave from time to times and drive) to get to a friends house. If you don't have to work a little to get what you want, it's not worth having and even if it is, you wont appreciate it as much. All the difficulty has been taken from life in this country and I to long for the days when you had to work hard to get what you wanted. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

My video equipment. My computer ,it's got 8-10hrs of skydive video, Most of which has been erased. We keep all the pic's of the kids in one big chest, that would be the first thing to get on the way out the door, even before the rigs. I have very good home owners ins., and I keep my rigs at the DZ. of coarse the insurance company wouldn't know that. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

You sound just like the rest of us now. You live your life by the weather forecast. You try to do stuff on bad weather days, you go to the inlaws house or visit mom. It is almost always good weather when your not at the DZ though. You grow to hate mother nature, you love global warming if you live in the north and you just hope for a bad drought year. Every year. I am a pilot to, so the weather is my life. I hate bad weather. welcome to the world of skydiving. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I consider skydivers my brothers and sisters, so I don't know if I am an exhibitionist or not. I don't get naked in public unless very drunk. I have been known to get naked in the chase airplane and swoop the base naked but I have to be in a no gripper needed outside slot. I have done fifty naked jumps or so. I do one at the WFFC every year(or two). I do naked swoops in front of whoever is at the clubhouse at home. Does this make me an exhibitionist, I am not sure. I am considering Organizing a big way at the convention this year if I can get the folks for it. So you people help me out am I an ex or not.. Thanks for the help. HPDBs, I hate those guys. You are in for a great day. Safety Day should be very busy, full of skydivers out for their spring time safety injection. You should be able to meet a lot of people, good choice. Have fun and be safe. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

Thats the way the cookie cumbles, so to speak. I hope you get out as soon as you can. good luck. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I like the response Tim. If I would have had more then 30 sec this morn I would have written the same. No negative back seatn here. I don't see anything to bad about what he did, or what he jumps. I wish I could have done it that young. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I wear my factory diver for RW. I wear my sidewinder for video. I don't wear anything for CReW or H-Ps. The decrease in the sound level, is worth a lot. It helps you focus. puts you in a more relaxed environment. Full face is the only way to go for me. 4-WAY RULES!!! HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.

I did about a dozen Mr. bill jumps in my first 1000. None since. They are a little dangerous and should be taken kinda seriously. They are cool and the fall away is a lot like a base jump, that is cool. Good job surviving. HPDBs, I hate those guys. AFB, charter member.
