  1. BTW if cars were Illegal you would most likely never be convicted of DUI. That doesn't mean you would not be run down by a horse and buggy.
  2. I am very sorry to hear you were harmed. However, what happens next time when your carrying a gun and you get approached one night on the street by a bum who wants some spare change. You think hes gonna rob you when he gets to close for comfort so you blow his brains all over the pavement and all he wanted was some quarters. You think you wouldnt make a mistake like that but people have done it before and people will continue to do it in the future. Just so you know chances are YOU WOULDNT HAVE 3 BULLETS LODGED IN YOU IF GUNS WERE ILLEGAL!!!! THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT! IF GUNS WERE BANNED IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU WOULDNT HAVE BEEN SHOT BY ONE AND THEREFORE WOULDNT FEEL THE NEED TO CARRY ONE FOR PROTECTION WHICH COULD IN TURN CAUSE MORE HARM. (I know caps lock means yelling on the internet.) You cannot possibly prove to any of us what you say is true, if guns were illegal would that stop all criminals from having one to use on you?
  3. You sir are not only a patriot but an honest person as well. I am tired of hearing victims of heinous crimes stating that they blame the gun not the attacker. People willing to brainwash themselves or others in this matter are sick indeed, the notion that any object used by an criminal is the causation of harm to others instead of the criminal actions itself is totally without acknowledging reality.
  4. To be honest with you I would support an all out gun ban or a severe restriction on gun rights. Since when does the hobby of Americans (hunting/shooting) have more importance than the safety of its citizens. Just look at the gun deaths in the US vs. that of any other westernized nation with gun control laws (UK, Germany, Japan). The disparity in the number of gun related deaths alone should be enough to severely restrict gun ownership. Its about time we did pry those guns from your fingers if you ask me. There you have it folks ANOTHER PERSON WILLING NOT ONLY TO GIVE UP HIS RIGHTS, BUT TO RESTRICT OR ABOLISH THE REST OF OURS AS WELL. This saddens me more than anyone could ever know. Wow, please educate yourself on this matter and others as well, you owe it to yourself.
  5. Anyone wanting to get rid of an "Evil Looking" rifle can send it to me I will pay the shipping.
  6. Footage of JFK Motorcade Is Discovered Tuesday, February 20, 2007 7:44 AM EST The Associated Press DALLAS (AP) — A recently discovered home movie showing President John F. Kennedy's motorcade shortly before his assassination was unveiled Monday on the Web site of a Dallas museum. The silent, 8 mm color film is "the clearest, best film of Jackie in the motorcade," said Gary Mack, curator of the Sixth Floor Museum, which focuses on Kennedy's life and assassination. The film shows a brief but clear glimpse of President Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, a few blocks from Dealey Plaza and roughly 90 seconds before the killing. Also visible is Secret Service agent Clint Hill riding on the back of the car. After the shots were fired, Hill jumped onto the car as it drove to the hospital. The film ends with some footage the next day outside the Texas School Book Depository, the building from which assassin Lee Harvey Oswald fired the fatal shots. "Because the speed of the motorcade was known to be between 12 and 15 miles per hour, I was able to figure out how far back in time it was from the assassination," Mack said. Amateur photographer George Jefferies took the footage and held onto it for more than 40 years, Mack said. Jefferies mentioned it in a casual conversation with his son-in-law, Wayne Graham, and the two agreed to donate it to the museum. At least 150,000 people lined the motorcade route, and Mack said he believes there are more film and photographs out there. "I know there are pictures out here that have not surfaced," Mack said. "The museum is always on the lookout for pictures. The bottom line is don't throw anything away." In a few of the frames researchers have found a small shining object which is nearly imperceptable unless looked at frame by frame. Upon further examination performed at MIT this past year Dr.Di Mento stated in his latest article in the Kennedy assination monthly "there is undeniabled comfirmation that the obect in the frames of this film is Al Frankens' Flying Saucer!"

  8. Hey that wasn't my hand...who the hell is under the table?
  9. I doubt Mr. Zumbo at his advanced age, and his background would ever risk himself in that situation.
  10. I guess hwat I am saying is much akin to skydivers being careful of stating facts and not confusing an issue when speaking to the public or the media about our sport or accidents involving skydiving.
  11. I did not say that they would, only that I would make the effort.
  12. .................................... Jim Zumbo is one of the most respected gun writers and hunters in the world today. For the past 50 or more years he has ate and slept hunting. Along with writing he hunts for a living. To say you are a better hunter.....I seriously have my doubts....Steve1 He is NOT and has never been a "Gun Writer" You can doubt it all you like, I am willing to demonstrate my abilities if you or anyone has the cash to provide me the opportunity to take the challenge of outhunting and outshooting Mr. Zumbo.
  13. Like I said in my original post, I'm sure there are probably people who hunt with an automatic rifle(against the law in many states and regulated heavily, made illegal to hunt with I believe in all 50 States currently with a big clip, who do hunt ethically. I realize slob hunters with bolt actions do exist, and I'm not condoning their behavior any more than I do a slob hunter who is ripping off multiple shots with a so called assault rifle while hunting. My feelings are that if you have 30 more rounds(Many states have regulations banning this during hunting season) available at the touch of a finger, hunters will do just that....keep right on firing. I hear it every hunting season. With another rifle, (other than a semi-auto)you are more likely to hunt ethically, in my opinion. Someone mentioned that AR-15's only come with a small clip(that's called amagazine, a clip is what magazines can be fed from, think stripper clips from the old M1 Garand. The thing is, can't larger magazines be obtained very easily.(considering the amount of large capacity magazines that are out there it is the least likey type used in crimes by any form of statistical analysis, Warped Skydiver mentioned his weapon is complete with a 30 round magazine.(Am I a criminal? or does that make me more likely to kill 30 people or any at all?) As far as cosmetics of a weapon, I have no fear of looking at a semi-auto(is a Full Auto Machinegun scary for you to look at?, it is an inanimate object), whether it is an M-16 or an automatic pistol, so don't try to put words in my mouth. To me hunting is all about responsibility and respect. When I hunt I respect the animal I kill. I respect the environment, and I even respect other hunters. Hunting with AR- 15 or AK cheapens what our sport is all about, in my opinion.( you are entitled to that opinion but please explain how it cheapens anything ok?) Quote Steve I can respect your opinion and I would like to take this opprtunity to clear up a few facts. First of all we must remember to be very aware that most of the public has no idea about anything firearms related so anything they read will be accepted as fact in the light of their ignorance on tis matter. So we must be try and be careful, correctly state the FACTS, and not interject hyperbole nor opinion. The highlighted parts of your post is what I would like to address and maybe we can then show the public at large the truth about guns.
  14. Have fun! I wish I had my A already and could go! Maybe this spring barring any unforseen financial problems
  15. What! politics should take precedent over service members welfare? I hope that isn't what your'e implying.
  16. John I know for a fact that Max KNOWS what he is talking about, I want pictures to prove the story's veracity and then in turn to shame our politicians from both sides of the aisle with this. This is not a partisan debate and should never be. Anyone wanting to use our troops health and recovery as a political tool is a TOOL. That includes Posters. If this simple statement of fairness offends anyone, fuck off.
  17. I would venture to say the other vehicles driver did not receive so much as a warning because they were the "victim" no matter what they did to instigate this Kind of like spitting in a soldiers face and being beaten to a pulp, then calling the cops because you were "assualted"
  18. No John I am asking for journalisatic integrity, the story may be true or false, but without video or pictures how will anyone know if it is true, or not?
  19. That would cut down on the Fudd population for sure. John, you may wanna hide that hat!
  20. I answered the phone once while I was banging my ex Kelli in the ass...
