Actually no you did not ask Gomei last week, if you had showed up without attaining persmission to observe (permission would not have been given to anyone) you would have been quite embarassed and been talking to the property owner. Why do you think it would have been ok to walk about and observe something that people PAID money to do? I would like to know, and I think some of the other posters on this forum would like to know as well. BTW approaching the firing line without actually knowing where the rounds were being fired from, could have resulted in serious injury, or a fatality, and really screwed the pooch for the DZ owners and the rest of us. This was a SDC sanctioned event, and will be bigger and better next year. All participants were enthusiastic, and really enjoyed themselves. They did not even mind carrying the 140lb dummy up the hill(well they did not mind after they were done) Again, there were no spectators allowed, and you DID NOT CALL FOR PERMISSION. When you are running an event you can decide who is allowed to watch, when you are not doing so, you MUST ASK PERMISSION

You will be arrested for it, there has been member of the ISRA/NRA who have done so, and been shoved around then arrested, for things such as resisting arrest.(but there was no arrestable offense in the first place, it seems the police are not allowed to assault a person who has not committed an offense nor caused such action to be neccessary) Only the police can act as illegal gun dealers without repurcussion for breaking a law that does not expemt them for breaking that law. So in other words, every time this type of gun "buy back" or "amnesty" occurs there have been numerous counts of illegal firearms dealing committed by the police. The fact is many of these firearms go home with the cops. No paperwork involved.

In Illinoistan, if you are shot even unintentionally by a police officer, and you are wearing a ballistc vest you face three years in prison. Obviously the government and politicians, nor police are about the average citizens safety when it come to getting shot. Isn't it strange that the law would be writtein is such a fashion? It was supposed to be written with the intent of stopping criminals from wearing one, yet the only people it stopped were the law abiding citzens.

Because of the people, not because of the presence of guns. HA rallies have lots of guns too, and lots of criminal activity..... Heck I will be there, what are you trying to say? Are you trying to tell me I won't go on a killing spree this weekend? Do you think I will not be using cover and concealment in order to get within 1000yds of targets of opportunity? Face it, you think I am just getting old and lazy!! Mods if he implies that I am a decent law abiding citizen with respect and concern for others rights and personal welfare, can we ban him for slandering me?

Shot placement is the key to successful firearms usage.

This weekend SDC will probably not have any concealed weapons, just alot of them out in the open, loaded and ready to fire. Maybe more than 50 AR-15s and several pistols. Anticipated firearm related crime is at zero. Anticiptated violence upon others is at zero. There will be lots of ammunition, and yet there probably will not be any crimes committed, the chances are around zero. Why do you suppose there is a high likelyhood nobody would want to try and perpetuate an offense this weekend at SDC? Heck even if some ner-do-well came around and tried to steal a weapon at gunpoint he would not be very happy at the least. Geez, some people actually might not be worried this weekend.
