Eggnog, but you have to make it pretty stout other wise everyone will end up full and not even buzzed. In my experience going with the cider is the best bet, you can get it in packets at the store and make it your self of you can get gallons of it. Stick it in a big BIG pot put it on the stove add rum and stir, then cover it and walk away. The whole excuse they are using now is a TOTAL and complete lie.. but you will support it no matter what. Its very very simple. Kerry was a terrible candidate, his people prettty much ran his campaign into the ground. He had a plan that he kept talking about having but no one ever fould out what the plan was. I mean it was time to vote and i didn't have a clue what his plan was. I am a pretty big supporter of bush and think that he has done a good job given what he has had to deal with. Arguably on of the most tumultuous presidencies in recent history, Between 9/11 and the natural disasters he really hasn't had a chance to put his message out there, he has been too busy cleaning up these disaters. Some would say that he is dumb or what not, but he is not a speaker, he has gotten much better since he came into office. It doesn't make him dumb everyone has had a teacher, generally a professor in college that was ridiculously smart, i am talking MENSA smart that couldn't speak their way into a cheese burger and fries at McDonalds. Now BEFORE the you attack me and say that i am calling Bush a Genius i am not, but i have long been a believer that it is not the president that determines the direction of the administration, but the people around him. A smart man always surrounds himself with people smarter than he. Bush does seem to do this as do most if not all presidents. A final Poke at the left. To be with my family and to jump on Christmas eve. That is two things but i am greedy. My mom was not thrilled when I started but she has grown to understand. I talked her into doing a tandem and she is sooo proud about that, she loved the atmosphere and being at the DZ. She also said that she wants to do it again but wants to take a friend. My dad is the polar opposite, he is terrified of it and makes terrible comments about it. Everytime after i get done jumping i call them and his first words to me are "so i guess you didn't go splat huh...". I have had to talk to him about making ridiculous statements about it several times, most times its when we are with other people and it comes up he will start saying that its going to kill us and many other things. He also the week before my mom jumped was talking to her and saying things like that he didn't like casseroles, meaning that when she dies presumably skydiving that he is not going to be happy cuz the women from the church were going to bring him caseroles. He is getting better though, i think it bothers him more that my mom did it than that i do it. Blue stuff Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama

I was talking to my mom last night and she is now talking about doing it again...My dad is going to kick my ass...But my mom loves it so who gives a damn...I don't think she is going to do AFF but i can see her doing 2 or 3 more tandems. i can't explain how pumped about that i am. I finally talked my mom into doing a jump. All of her friends were trying to talk her out of it, and saying that it was dangerous, and that she shouldn't do it. She did anyway! (GO MOM!) My girlfriend and I talked it out with her, and showed her video and everything. When she finally got on the plane she was terrified you could see it in her face, but her greatest fear was for the woman that she had met while training for her tandem. It was a great experience. The best part was that I got to be on the plane with her and when we landed all of my friends at the DZ were out in the landing area with cameras and clapping and yelling for her. It was a great feeling and made me realize that skydivers truly are a family. My mom told my girlfriend that she had felt the support of people before, but it was never anything like that, meaning coming in for a landing and having all those people there cheering for her. I just want to thank the people out at SDA, thanks to Manifest for getting my mom up and down in a quick fashion, thanks to the two guys that got off the load so that My girlfriend and i could get on, and thanks to all the people that made it so special We truly are lucky people to have a community like we do.
