I hope they investigate any similar cases involving these guys - its pretty awful to think who might be stuck in the big house because of these morons. Never try to eat more than you can lift -
It seems that you think Equality = allowing businesses to discriminate against those they don't like/ agree with (in this case consenting adults who love other consenting adults of the same sex) I can assure you, this is not the case. If, say, your local starbucks wanted to discriminate against black people, do you think that would be OK? Do you think Lincoln was a bigot because he pushed for the end of slavery? After all, the beliefs of the people of that day were that slavery was OK because black people were sub human. Do you think their beliefs were trampled on unfairly? if so i think we are done here. Thats because you don't like the conclusion based on your tiny personal sample of anecdotal evidence. Fortunately, there are people out there who do objective studies. I thought the research study was pretty good in that they were very clear about the limitations, assumptions, the method and the implicit and explicit further questions posed by the results. The results themselves are what they are - factual, within those constraints that the authors laid out. Do they lead to a conclusion one way or the other? Nothing you could really lean on. The only "anti" conclusion they really came up with would be that suicides were more likely to be successful if there was a gun readily available - I don't think thats too much of a stretch for anyone to go with. You mean like that totally hetro thing described in the Bible where a dude jerks a chick off so hard she craps? Completely God approved! I'm serious. It's in there and very few people I know have a problem with it. Song of Solomon 5:4 So yeah, I have no idea why some factions of religion have an issue with some things but not others. My personnal favorite bible verse is Ezekiel 23:11-21, describing the lovers of a permiscuos prostitute as beng hung like donkeys and able to cum like horses. That would make for an interesting animated children's bible story. I actually had to look it up because I wasn't sure I believed you. Never try to eat more than you can lift

Seem to remember a bunch of posters on this site saying exactly that just before the last election. How is President Romney working out for you? Never try to eat more than you can lift

I appreciate what he is saying, however if it was, say, a bus company that decided it didn't want to serve customers, well I am sure you see where I am going with this. If "libertarian" means "ok with institutional racism" then it's not OK. Agree. Never try to eat more than you can lift

I agree. There is no doubt that americans have the right to own and acrry fire arms. I am just approaching this from a person who is allowed to own arms, not allowed to carry arms, yet still feels free. My free speech is more restricted, yet I still feel like I live in a free country. Hence the symbolism is a little lost on me. It sounds that you, like me, don't feel freedom is defined by the right to carry a gun. I feel far freer living where I do, than the time I have spent living in the UK or the US. Maybe it's a regional restriction, but it's available in the americas http://www.amazon.com/Whats-Matter-Kansas-Conservatives-America-ebook/dp/B003J4VEM2/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=&qid= Ah, yep, regional. Fortunately I have a way round that. Never try to eat more than you can lift -
Iris scanners are in fact overkill and not really required. It can all be done with facial recognition today. The only reason its not is because the companies that CAN do it are well aware that it would be seen as "creepy". Never try to eat more than you can lift
