  1. The cost was as advertised!! I did the FJC @ Elsinore and made a trip over to Perris for a tunnel session and paid a grand total of $2300...as soon as I got the licence I also attended Scoot Miller's Flight-1 Canopy course(Highly recommend this to every newby) It will give you the confidence you need to fly your canopy with more accuracy in any wind condition. It is 5 H&P w/video debrief and only cost $185...the course is money...Later all...Blue Skys...Boom out NKAWTG...N

    Too Long...

Hello to all that read this...it is Sunday night 2222hrs(1022 for civilians). Just had a thought to share; it has been too long since my last jump. 02 Apr 05 was the last great day, had to come back to this little ass island called Okinawa, Japan( no DZ for 600miles). When I do get back to the states I will have to do a recurrency jump. It will be exactly 63 days since the last time. I have been living vicariosly through dz.com and reading all the post daily. As a newbie, I feel very much at home reading all that is shared on the site. It reminds me of my time at Elsinore; everyone so willing to help and share their experiences. Can't wait to be able to jump every weekend when I get to Skydance ( near Travis AFB)...Later all...Boom NKAWTG...N

  16. Hello to all, Boom here, and yes i am a NEWBIE. I have recently completed theFJC @ Elsinore and WOW. I did 33 jumps on an 8 day trip along with some good tunnel time and Scott Miller's Flight-One canopy course...everyone should go through this course. Just want to drop a big THANKS to the crew at Elsinore( AC, Mark, Joe, Stroop, Lob, Chad...hell just everyone). Will be treking back across the big pond in June(the Pacific ocean) to get settled in at Travis AFB near Davis, Ca. I guess Skydance will be my new home for years to come...Later...Boom NKAWTG...N
  17. This is my first post on Dropzone so bare w/me. I am a "newbie"; I just recently completed 33 jumps in 8 days. I went through the FJC @ Skydive Elsinore and had my world open to a new light. I planned and saved for over two years and had the disire many years prior. To all newbies and experienced, I love Skydiving, I knew I would from an early age. I was worried that starting age 29 would hender me, then I met Jonathan Tagle while I was going through Scott Miller's Flight-One canopy course. I learned that Jonathan started at age 30, 4-5 years ago and is now the best swooper in the world. He gave me a confidence and drive to be the best, at a good pace though. Newbies beware, be patient and live to skydive again and again...Later...Boom NKAWTG...N
