    keep it up. quitting is fucking hard. i have no idea how you can quit living with people who smoke. i couldn't do it. i don't know exactly when my last cigarette was, but it was sometime around thanksgiving 2003. i used the patch for a long fucking time after that though. whatever you do, don't drink for about 6 months at least. that's what would always be my downfall the many times i've quit in the past. even after all this time, i still occasionally get the desire to go outside and relax with a cigarette, but its not like the cravings that you will still experience. i now indulge in a cigar roughly once a month or two without any urge to buy cigs, but i'm probably playing with fire here.     i usually laugh when my wife farts. mostly because she stops, draws attention to herself, sticks her butt out, and then it sounds like the time peter griffin beat michael moore in a farting contest. the first time i met her parents, we all went out to dinner. her dad got up to go to the bathroom and ripped a loud one right in the restaurant. i knew then that i was marrying into the right family.     well fuck, now we're in agreement. what, if anything can or should be done about it? before the bailout, i called my congressman and told him (actually the girl that answered the phone) that i was against the bailout and that if he voted for it, he would lose my vote. he voted for it, and i kept my word. i actually voted for a democrat. i would continue to vote against him, but i won't live here in two years.     i haven't listened to her radio show since i got rid of xm a few years ago, but at that time, she was nasty. i haven't seen her tv show, but i know that she does come on right after olberman, and just about anyone would seem even-keeled following that guy. i don't care about her sexual orientation, "pissed off lesbian" is just an accurate discription of her radio show.
