Hey Mike, 45sec is doable with this much altitude, even longer (if not at high altitude, after a 6 hours climb and wearing thermal clothing!) J BASEstore.it

No you cannot "soar" a wingsuit in the traditional sense but thermals can still improve your flight performance. They can cause mild instabilty. BASEstore.it

Nah that was some crooked Brits who wanted the record for themselves! BASEstore.it

I know Scott (Lou) has done some work in this area, maybe he can shed some light. BASEstore.it

In the video for the roller pigeon comp he made some of the most precise transitions i've seen. Flaring the suit, performing a front loop next to the base and then docking. Back fly under base, dock. Barrel roll over, dock etc He also showed us a sneak preview of the footage of him docking on the wing of a glider. BASEstore.it

Loics flocks were structured a little differently, normally a wider and flatter trapezium (rather than a pyramid). He normally used a "base line" of 5 flyers, with himself in the middle and a diamond behind him. Building tight lines more than 3 rows beyond the base is still the problem though... BASEstore.it

Agreed *cough* I would like to say a big thank you to BJ, Natalia, German, Loic, Perry, Hans (Chief Judge ) and everyone at the Stupino dropzone for making the event so much fun. We started the event with 3 small flocks lead by Loic, Perry and myself. By the end of the day we combined the groups together to make a nice 20+ way. Loic organised the big ways, whilst Perry and myself took video/photo. We progressed to formation Turbo Let loads with upto 35 jumpers

As Sandro said yesterday as we left Stupino for the airport: "We all have P.B.D." (Post Boogie Depression) BASEstore.it

unclecharlie95 replied to unclecharlie95's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Marco "Pazzo" Pistolesi organized a wingsuit weekend at Skydive Garzigliana this weekend http://www.skydivegarzigliana.it/. PFIs Marco, Claudio, Vincenzo and Chiller did a great job getting the first timers in to the air and we got chance to make a few flocks with smoke as well
