i have 25 surf dives. it is everything that it looks. you cannot imagine the rush of seeing the world blur as you spin on the board. it is very different feeling your feet and legs bound to a board. it is also very dangerous when the board gets a mind of it's own and takes off things get very bad very very fast. on one of my surfs i got stuck in a sit spin that pulled blood out of my eye brow piercing. it is also very lonely as you mainly get to jump alone. but that is the life of a skysurfer. but before you try it get the coaching this is not like anything in skydiving. there is no other way to start skysurfing without the proper coaching. if you are going to the gathering talk to keith snyder he is the national champion and he knows what he is doing and he is always welcome to questions. i hope this kinda answers you question.. if fun were easy it wouldn't be worth having, right?

hey BB i would just like to thank you for all the hard work you are putting into this gathering. you are doing a great job!!!!!

mike was a great skydiver one of the best instructors i have ever had the pleaser to not only jump with but to learn from. he taught me to how to keep my head when the shit hits the fan, he also taught me to pack and was their for any other jumper that just happen to be at the dz with a question. he loved to skydive and he will be greatly missed. the one memory that stands out about mike, that describes mike the best: one day after the beer light was on myself and 5 of the instructors at parachute phoenix were standing around just b.s.ing and the subject turned to mike, and one of the other instructors stated that mike should get an award for best instructor. that thought has always crossed my mind everytime i have seen mike or had the privlage to jump with him. We lost a great teacher, fellow skydiver and a good friend this week. blue skies brother. if fun were easy it wouldn't be worth having, right?

This weekend my skytronic FX goes to shit and quits working. so i call Unfeathered and spoke to Tea and ask what are my options. she told me no problem and is sending me a new one no charge. i just have to send my old broken one back. talk about great customer service. thanks Tea and Unfeathered if anyone is on that works there. if fun were easy it wouldn't be worth having, right?
