check out the Skyhook video and you will see that there are no problems with it in a bag lock situation.

Hand to foot and hand to knee have to be the easiest imo. Side by side hand docks can be mildly hard to fly at your level and they sitll are a bit at mine as well. Switch up which hand you take docks with as well you don't want to end as one of those people who can only do docks with there right hand.

What would happen if you were going for a swoop landing...

Has any of you experienced a bag lock and..

i have had a small case of bag lock but it cleared its self when i looked up and then the canopy opened just fine. Saw the video of this pretty bad bag lock that happeded to someone i know where he tried to fix it then when into line twists when it cleared then he cut away and pulled reserve and at this point his cypress fired. Unless your pulling at like 5000 feet AGL probally a better idea to just cut away. -
i believe it has something to do with how much lift you can get in paragliding.

There was an incident at my old DZ a couple years back where the chest strap actually snapped at the seems i believe it was. From what was told it was just a normal jump but the guy who was jumping the rig was a really sketchy fellow and did stupid shit a lot like not tie up his chest strap properly and stuff like that.

hmm very interesting. Chachi next time i see you up in pitt i wouldn't mind taking a look at this setup in person if you don't mind.

This is exactly why i don't belly out right away i had someones foot go right into my back on my rig and left a foot print on it. Freaked the shit out of me and will never just pop to belly/track right away without looking around and above

not sure what it is like in orlando but in AZ i had to do some time on my belly, then quite a bit on my back then learn to walk/stand in the tunnel then i was able to start learning how to sit on the mesh floor. Work on back flying if your still able to skydive right now cause it will seriously help a lot when your in that tunnel
-
Anyone have current phone numbers/email address/DZ.com Usernames for current riggers that can do H-mod for a cobalt?
-
3500 feet

Travelling with a rig - Airline regs, etc.

Can always try and take it as carry on -
1. Get to 500 Jumps 2. Learn to Sitfly Properly no more of that arms behind chest forward shit. 3. Possibly Compete in a Freefly Comp 4. Learn to fly my canopy properly and seek proper coaching. 5. Get a new container.

got mine from aerostore as well took 4 weeks to get like they said and had no problems with it. And yeah wait till you have 200 jumps roughly so your comfortable in the air before you add another thing that can cause trouble.
