    I'll stipulate that much of the media does slant left. But you can't honestly believe that FOX and just about all talk radio is not right of middle.

    I'm referring to the least common denominator of weaponry that is issued. Not the specialized or unit based stuff that isn't issued to every single soldier. But as far as automatic rifiles, Yes, they are and should be permitted to own. I don't mind additional paperwork/licensing to own them although I don't see the usefullness of it. But if it's a feel good compromise that some people need, that's fine.

    Take note of the trend. You are almost equally likely to have enormous debt as no debt. Once you have any revolving debt, the curve goes up trending toward more and more debt. Anyone carrying some debt and thinking it's ok...It can start snowballing and get away from you. I know. It's best to go cold turkey and just stop borrowing, only buy what you can afford in cash.

    Maybe because they don't reflect the majority of democrats or liberals. They may be the loudest and most abrasive, but they are not typical. Just as Pat Robertson isn't considered a spokesman for most conservatives and republicans. And for the record...how do you know about filth coming from them, if the press isn't reporting it?

    I'm not JohnRich and I don't know what thread you're talking about. You call being attacked with a club a simple an harmless situation? But you're right the idiot with the club could have easily been an idiot with a gun. Isn't that more reason to allow innocent law abiding citizens the ability to protect themselves with parity?

    There are caveats, I'm not an anarchist. If you read the federalist papers you find that the intent for the right to bear arms was to provide for a miliita of the citizenry equipped as the average infantry soldier of the time. I think that should be true today as well. I don't believe mines are standard issue equipment to the average infantryman. Also I believe that we should be able to arm ourseives at least as well as the criminals in our society are typically armed. I don't believe they typically use claymores either.

    How do you feel about heroin? Not sure where you're going with that. But I think all drugs should be decriminalized.

    It's the same old debate we had way back then. The congresspeople were NOT given all the data before the vote. We've discussed in other threads that classified information isn't and shouldn't be freely shared with the entire congress. They were given reports and summaries that were skewed to indicate WMD. They weren't outright lies, but it was partical truths. Just the evidence that points to WMD, but none of the evidence that refutes it. Yes, a bipartisan congress authorized the use of force, if necessary. But they did so based on incomplete information provided to them by the white house.

    I had a recruiter tell me to lie during my initial application. When I answered a couple questions yes, he said, "You mean no" and checked off no on the form.

    The purpose of a parachute is to save your life. The purpose of having a gun for self defense is to save your life. why should I, or anyone, be deprived of a life saving tool just because others use it for a different purpose? Why punish the innocent for the sins of the guilty?

    Same thing happened to me on my third jump. I was flying one of those huge ass Manta student jobs...220..somthings. No wind day so landing direction was based on home rule. When I was just about to start flaring, gust of wind from the rear and my cells deflated....dropped me straight down on my ass.

    How about this order: 1 Patient The person who is pregnant is the one that has to live with the consequences, no matter what. That is why the decision should be their's. They are free to discuss with parents all they wish. Help me from anyone that reads this as if the pregnant teenager makes the decision in a vacuum.
