    No, I'd prefer not to. Right now I'm waiting for my Cypres to arrive before I get my rig assembled and go back back to jumping after my surgery. A friend of mine went in a few years ago - Doing back-to-back jumps with 2 rigs, one with a Cypres and one without. Turned out when he needed it, the Cypres was in the rig on the ground. Lost another friend earlier that same year, again a Cypres would have saved her, too. Check - SSK may be able to set you up with a loaner. Easy Does It

    I don't have any problem with occasional, subtle product placement. Television used to go to rediculous ends to conceal brand names, etc. But like Brains said, the blatant in-your-face crap is annoying as all hell. On one T.V. show my ex would watch - the one episode was full of references to TiVo - Must have mentioned it 50 times. I wonder how much the advertiser was paying for it. Movies are getting worse in that respect, too. We're paying to see a movie, not a two-to-three-hour commercial. Easy Does It

    We got Nancy an XM radio for Christmas - So far haven't listened to it enough to swear by, her apartment in Riverside didn't have the southern exposure - Now that we're in the "new" house in Crystal Lake, we'll see how it goes. As far as taking music/news to the gym or where ever, I just download it and load it on my MP3. No fuss, no muss, no bucks. Easy Does It

    Just got clearance to go back to full activity - Including jumping !! WooHoo! Won't be for another couple weeks though, waiting for my Cypres to show up then drag all my stuff to the local rigger for assembly. I'll prolly start with a few hop-n-pops. Yeah Baby!!! Easy Does It

    One may also consider it's geographic location - Salt water and southern climates, desert, etc. vs. northern areas, where the jumping season is shorter and the weather more tolerable by the fabric. Easy Does It

    I'm a Vans guy myself - Prefer the smooth sole vs. anything with traction. I made a jump once wearing hiking shoes, and beleive that was one of several factors leading to a broken ankle that day. Easy Does It
