Galen and I adopted Gizmo from the Humane Society today. She's had a pretty rough first year of life, but took to us fast! Even let us give her a bath!

Is this Critical Incident Stress Management training? I took that certification and we're prepared to use it if another charley (or worse) goes through here. It's a good course, althogh I think it's usually like 12-18 hours in length depending on the teacher.

I stopped last night. 2 gas stations near my house were out of gas. The third was down to premium only @ over $3/gallon. not so good!

We were going rafting and camping at a state park this weekend. I cancelled the reservation. Figure we can probably raft in the street here.

recruiter, trainer, & coordinator for 1200 volunteers with our area hospice, also serve as a liason to local nursing home in regards to our services. my paycheck is small, but I go home happy at the end of the day.

hell no. those mudslide scare me. and all the hurricanes seem to veer away from me. I'm not working at that crappy assisted living anymore, so I don't have to fear for my life during storms.

Congrats, although I can't believe you planned a FL wedding the only weekend this summer I was away. Next tiem Kris is in town we'll have to have a post-wedding no-longer-a-bachelor/bachelorette party.

hey alana- i remember renting a car through MCO airport once when under 25- I think the cheapest BY FAR was Payless car rental. It's off airport, but has shuttle pick up. They were way cheaper than the big names and the car was fine for my purposes.

cross keys has discounted jumps on Wednesdays. I think they start at 9 AM but call and check.

Les Mis or Rent, easily. I liked Phantom when I saw it on Broadway, but the other productions of it I've seen weren't so well done. THe movie was OK, but it's never the same as the actual theater.

If you are thinking FL for Xmas/NY holiday, ZHills is the place to be. More than likely the biggest event on the east coast, and biggest in comparson to Eloy's event. Sebastian has some kickass events too, I'd recommend coming down around Valentines day for the Naughty Cupid event there. Deland is a great DZ and good place to go if you are just concerned with cranking out some jumps and aren't into the mega afterhours scene, IMO.
