My parents *believed* that the DZO gave me my gear since I worked in manifest. They also, for a time, thought that after you had 100 jumps, your jumps were free. __

Just beware, you can't camp at skydive miami. There is a hostel somewhere nearby, get that info ahead of time- I'm not sure how quickly it fills. __

A friend brought a bottle of Christine Woods (somewhere in Cali) the otehr weekend. really earthy and pretty good. I had a bottle of a beringer blend (pinot noir and something else that I'd never heard of) about a week ago that was suprisingly good. Of course, for a DZ party I'd bring a big old thing of sangria. yummmmy! __

ZHills for new years is a must. Last year the bonfire was over 3 people high. There was lots of stuff. I just can't remember it. __ -

1*:1:0 whoohoo! I finally got to jump, after moving, hurricanes and work nightmares! Picked up a sabre 2 demo, since I've been on teh ground for a while. I wanted something more docile than my samurai for a first jump in a month, laugh if you want, but I'd rather be safe than stupid. Nice stand up landing in no winds. Welcome back me! See you in Palatka! __

Lots of stuff! 25-28 CRW camp for all levels 17-21 Go fast games, freefly events night jumps 10 way speed scrumptious dinners by Janine PD demos 8 way comp 16 way comp and most importantly epic parties and all beers for $2. not just the crappy ones. all the FS meets are pretty much pick up teams. It's pretty easy to find a team day of or day before. Mostly the problem is gettign up early enough for them after the parties. __

My mal was relatively fast. I hung onto my handles, but remember thinking, after my reserve was open "WTF do I do with these?" Oren, not all of us have as much practice as you. Except maybe Heather... __

I had a friend who just got married. I was appalled at her registry. They actually registered for a silverware set that cost over $1000. I am glad I bought the first day I got my invite, because affordable gifts were few and far between! Granted, I'm not in the marriage boat, but as a wedding-goer, I like buying lots of little things. I like wrapping up 5-10 little items rather than just giving two plates, or a pan. As a recommendation, if you are looking to register for pots/pans, and since others will be buying them, calphalon is EXCELLENT. pricier, but solid as a rock! Don't forget to register for a margarita set. Absolute necessity. __

I had an interesting *issue* with target's online merchandise center, which to note is NOT affiliated with the store. I ordered a dinette set that I loved. It was delivered, and when I opened the boxes, it was cracked (tabletop). I call, they say they will send another one out, and have the broken one picked up. The new one was delivered, the old one was not picked up. The new one was also cracked, same place. Of course, tehy probably wouldn't have been cracked if the company had used ANY packing material (nada). So now I've got two broken dining room tables, and 8 chairs in my little condo. It took them 2.5 weeks to arrange b\pick up, I had to go BUY shipping materials, unassemble chairs, and they STILL have not credited the right amount for the return. __

1*:75*:0 1 rig picked up. I was pretty overcast and questionable conditions with a front moving in, so no jumps. NEXT weekend I'm saying screw work, I'm going jumping. I'll be there friday night until I ge tto skydive. 75$ suprise when I picked my rig up. Apparently the cypres batteries need replaced. I've only had the cypres for a year (bought it new). Paragear gave me an old one off the shelf. BASTARDS!!! __

The DZs are already up and running. Lake Wales may be one to check on, but ZHills, DeLand and Sebastian are all running as normal now. __
