    Made 8 WS jumps at the All Of the Above boogie at Skydive Oregon. As always, they did a great job taking care of us. Last jump of the weekend for me was sunset load Saturday to make my 800th. Thanks go to bodypilot1 for organizing a 12 way open diamond where I got to fly the center slot to make it a full 13 way. Unfortunately, no video as the camera went wonky on climbout. But the people on the ground said it looked pretty good. It was definitely a good weekend.

    After being shown by Brian Germain how to pack a PC, I only use his method. It does two things at once. It will greatly reduce/eliminate your chance of having a horseshoe malfunction if your main pin gets popped with PC still in the BOC & his method can not be done if the PC is not cocked. I have to admit, it has helped me once to catch when I got distracted mid packjob and forgot to cock the PC. Here is a link to his video instruction and photos. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     It was fun being a part of the 16 way in Lodi. When we saw Avery's photo and we all cheered is what made the flight great. Doing it a second time just put the icing on the cake. I don't care if it is considered a record or the current largest slot perfect formation flown to date, or just a cool picture for that matter. I hope that is bested soon. That desire to improve on what has been done in the past just means this discipline will continue to grow and achieve new things we still haven't even thought of. These two events in November will give us all who attend a chance to meet a lot of fellow flockers from far off places and have a great time. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     That was the jump I enjoyed the most for the weekend. NWFlyer and I did the "Her, her,..." in the plane, and almost no one else joined in. Guess they don't do that at K-Pow. A very family friendly dropzone. Didn't have enough altitude to really turn any points, so went to plan B. As I started to get it turning, Krisanne started to correct it. She saw the smile on my face and realized what I was doing and let me at it. The smile on Granny's face as I got that sucker spinning was priceless. And the pieing went off so smooth. Neither her hat nor her camera got dirty. She had no idea it was coming. The video was captured by an ex-DZ.commer that will remain nameless.
