    I want my rig as carry-on on the way to where I am jumping. If my checked gear gets lost by the airline, I can scrounge goggles, alti, helmet that will fit. It's a lot harder to find a complete rig that will fit. On the way home, I'm less concerned because there is more time for the airline to find my stuff. I sometimes carry both of my rigs when I travel. I pack each (carry on and checked) with a large envelope that contains the AAD x-ray card, the TSA letter authorizing rigs on planes and my name & cell #. On the outside of the envelope has the following in big bold letters: TSA Skydiving parachute information inside Contact me prior to removing parachute for search(cell #) My checklist for packing either rig includes securing the cutaway handle and removing the hook knife.     The situation has been raised before. The arm cut away should function during worse case scenario. Consider this one. I get taken out and have a badly injured right arm. Can't reach my hacky so I go silver. I pulled unstable due to being asymmetric and open in line twists. I can't unzip any zipper on the good arm using that same arm. My arm just don't bend that way, but I'd like to watch someone give it a try. They might be able to do it with their teeth, but that isn't something we do every day either, specially when under a spun up canopy hurling at the ground. A cable cut away system that can be reached with either hand may not be as elegant, but seems more failsafe in my book. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     So, what a weekend. The weather didn't quite cooperate on Friday. But it made up for it by being perfect both Saturday and Sunday. Lots of fun flocks, good food and Scott was only taken out once. By me. On exit out the door. Thanks to all the out of towners that made the trip. James came out from Z-hizzy post F&D 3.5 to flock with us west coast birds. The Northwesterners and SoCal contingent were well represented. Ira even brought his brother along to make some observer rides. A few memories to ponder: Where would you be on the train? Spherical horses in a vacuum. Things that can be done with a banana. Back rubs. The pigeon apocalypse in the tower. Long chats about ex-boyfriends. Below me. Yes, pretzels do taste good in ice cream.     If it is all whites, try didi seven. It worked great on the whites "ruined" when I didn't see the ink pen in the dryer I used at the laundromat. It works on some colored clothes. Make sure to test in a non visible spot. Hell, if it does remove the color, do the whole garment. Now it will be one of the whites. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     I have had a zipper jam and relied on the cable release to get to my toggle. I jump a big old lightly loaded Sabre that doesn't respond much/quickly to harness input. Other then a broken zipper, the only time I would need the release is when time is critical, a mal on my reserve. When seconds count, I like the idea that I can undo both cables at the same time.     The weather was definitely playing havoc with the cameras. My lens fogged on every jump and had a moisture sensor warning most times. It was great to be in the air this F&D. The jumps were a blast, whether be they a full otter or just shooting video on a coach jump. The wing suit race was a hoot to watch and we celebrated Robibird's birthday.
