Mustain did well but still holds such disdain for his old mates. As was pointed to tho... early Metallica is far better than what they do now. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are classic. Dont know if I really get the entire Monster thing they are doing now... and i miss Jason on base.

0: 3: 0 a day of skaydiving is better than a day doing bout anything else....
-
Broncos/Raiders stuff aside... very nice post Law... I guess some of you Raiders fans are actually human after all.
-
yea.. who are all these people?? ... oh wait.. I am one of them...
-
Just wondering if I am the only one... hadnt watched it before but have found it is like watching a train wreck... I dont want to but I cant help it!!

Let me know what you find out! The cast includes Green Bay Packer Ray Nitschke (Bodaanski), LA Rams/ Pittsburgh Steelers alum Mike Henry (Rasmussen), Minnesota Viking QB Joe Kapp (Walking Boss) and Pervis Atkins (Mawabe) - who had stints with the Rams, the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders. With these guys hammering Crewe, the prospect of beating the guards after the game’s first half becomes a daunting one. Google

1970's Raider game, or the original "The Longest Yard" football movie... I could swear that there were Raiders in that movie... may have to google it and find the cast. Either way you are right Bily.. I think they were one in the same!

hmm.. all the woman that know what they want have grabbed us!!

for some reason I only go back to the Elway days.. and even then only until Davis showed up in the backfield with him... must be all the drowning of sorrows prior to then.. And the Raiders... hmph.. the most cheatiness team ever to take the grid iron!
-
I am there also!! Football is great and a blast to watch. Growing up in Colorado I have been a Bronco fan since a wee lad... Hard to beat 80,000 people all rooting for the same team... IT ROCKS.

I would do everything Tim Mgraw said in "Live like you were dying". -
Regrets? Would you do it differently?

what an interesting paradigm we are in here... jump early with no money and have it get in the way of getting other things (your degree) or jump later once you are stable and can afford to do what you want.... For me it is easy, I cannot go back so I jump now, in the time i have chosen. I am rather well off and have done all the schooling I am going to do ( I got my MBA a couple years ago). I wouldnt change a thing.. I can jump when I want, on gear I want and bought outright.. I dont worry about jump tickets or how to afford my sport as I established myself first. Is this the most Fun way to do it? maybe not, but it sure is paying the dividens now!! -
do you have to be naked as well?

So if we take hypothetical or real numbers and plug them in we can say: a C (for the picture of this go to my last post) a=centerline straight up b=centerline to landing point c=total distance between landing and exit from the air d=total distance between landing and exit from the ground c/a=d/b Plug in the known Lets just say c is 200 feet traveled on the horizontal while in FF The earth is 36,010,000 feet giving is A B is 26,000,000 200/360,010,000 = d/x 5.555e = d/36.000,000 d = 199.94 So if we travel a distance of 200 feet in the air we travel a distance on 199.94 feet on the ground. This is FUN!

This is algebra, not a physics questions.
-
Now that was FUNNY!!!

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be in the air doing something like that. Maybe one day..
-
Will buy beer this weekend for sure.. no sense when most of my friends were working... but I am good for it!
-
I cant wait to learn what all those things are!
-
Well so far anyway. Took off of work early to take a friend out to the DZ so he could make a tandem. He had the time of his life. I got to ride up with him to 6k and I got out so they could go on up and do their thing (I am no where near good enough to get out with them). Waht a blast we had.. Then the best part of the entire day.. I had my first 2 way 2 point jump. What an incredible experience to be locked on with someone else in freefall. We took grips, did a 360 and took grips again. It was by far the coolest thing EVER. Finally someone could match my fall rate enough to dock!! My goodness this sport is so cool.. but I believe it must be worse than crack in its addiction factor as I cant wait to get out and do it again. So anyone else care to share their best skydiving day ever (so far anyway). Later… Tom

I guess the rig stays home then but it leaves more room for going to see the belly dancers!

I will be leaving for a business trip to Ankra, Turkey on Sunday and saw there is a DZ there. Anyone jump there? Looking at a free day on Wednesday before coming home on Thursday and would like to make jump. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

thats not right... I am scared forever.

Yes, called in sick to stay home and do it.. called in sick because I was up all night doing it... went home during the day to do it... did it on a flight to Madrid... This thread made me think, I might be sick.
