  1. I had a wonderful time visiting your dropzone this week. You have a wonderful atmosphere, great people that were friendly, helpful and most of all fun. I enjoyed this adventure immensely and you made my “first” (yes I bought beer!) away from the home DZ jumps something I will not forget. Special thanks to Keetie, Marcus, Kathy, Pedro and Pablo…. You all are great people and I cannot wait to see you again. It is people like you that make me love this sport so very much! Rory, thanks for the help, the directions, the sitfly (kind of) and the friendship. When you come to the states you have a home in NY!! I look forward to seeing all of you again very soon. 5. I have a business trip to Spain on Monday and looking to jump. I went through the threads and see that there are many dropzones in Spain and most look friendly... what I do not know is where they are in relation to where I will be... so any advice on a place the go that is close to Toledo? I understand Toledo is about 1.5 hours south of Madrid... thanks...

  8. My wife is great at the "daily" meals... same thing dinner, same thing lunch.. etc, etc.. when it comes to creating a feast, putting out a spread with something new and experimental it is all me of course, there have been some meals I have made that are memorable for how awful they were.. (sheppard's pie.. I blew that one)
  9. I don't know about that Clay... It would only take that one time 400 pound nasty old mama coming in and saying "open your mouth boy cause you are going downtown...." that would wipe out all those middle aged nice ladies looking to dominate..
  10. How many toads do you have to kiss before that princess shows up?
  11. Damn straight! It will be the nasty skanky woman going there.... cause we all know that the pretty woman dont have to pay to get laid... plenty of one night stand guys out there ready to serve them!
  12. Germany sounds great.. have only flown through there...Really like Portugal as well. Dont know about the London dish though.... we each find our own way there... although it is usually planned around business trips that we "plan" to just so happen to need to be in the same place ahhh the corporate card! But dinner is always real cash...
  13. a standing bet with my brother in law… He is an avid Raiders fan and I am just as much a Bronco fan… so here is the bet. The teams play twice a year, if the season series is split, the bet is off. If one team sweeps the series, then the loser has to buy the winner dinner at the restaurant of the winner’s choice. The catch is he lives in California and I live in New York. So the winner also picks the city we meet in for the chow…. Thus far we have hit; Bar Harbor for Lobster New Orleans for Papadoes Cajun food McAllen Texas for some TexMex Portland Oregon for Salmon Kansas City for steak Now this year we have expanded the bet to any major city in the world… As the Broncos are up one game and should win the next one at home, I am looking for some good ideas as to exploit this lose… Was thinking: Rio de Janeiro for a fine South American cuisine Or Madrid for some Paella Any ideas?
  14. and to top it all off... you have cooties!!

    Stephen King

"The Girl who loved Tom Gordon"... I liked that book... all alone but for something... /shiver/
  17. When King was hit by the van and was in really bad shape all I could think about was who was going to finish the story!! I was bummed that it might end with Rowland still just on the beam....
  18. and I think this amazing trip Rowland is on is simply brilliant... Lobstrosities and all!
  19. I see some great ideas here and easy for you to pull off... but there was one that worked for me once, got me out of a bad bind... Had little money, no forward thinking and lost track of time. I got some paper and cut them into heart shape pieces. On each one I made a coupon she could redeem at any time... foot rub, back rub, hot bath, run to the store, more wine.. you get the idea, all things she loves. I made them into a heart shaped coupon book and tied them together with some string. On the front was all gushy I love you, thanks for being married to me... and then the promise that should she want any one of those things, at anytime day or night, she would just hand me the coupon and away I would go, or start, or whatever. She actually really dug it... it could go good with your book idea.
  20. Thanks j0nes... from you that is a great compliment!
