DUH. If you can be forced to kill people you sure as fuck outta be able to legally drink or ingest any fuckin thing you want. First, it's a volunteer army. I never understood that argument. What does being of legal age to enter into a contract have to do with being allowed to ingest poison? I fully support lowering the minimum legal drinking age to eighteen, or, better yet, sixteen, but I fail to see what the ability to drink has to do with the ability to serve. Besides all the convictions obtained of those responsible for terrorist attacks such as the 1993 WTC bombing? Bush spent more money and more innocent lives fighting terrorism (beginning September 12, 2001), but it would be difficult to argue that he has been more effective. (Not that that excuses him for continuing (the elder) Bush's illegal bombings of Iraq) It's rather funny to see you abandon your CDIF posting strategy when it is most aptly applied to fighting terrorism. Correction: It took 9/11 for Bush to realize that Clinton was right about the danger posed by al Qaeda. One can only wonder what might have (not) happened if Bush had taken that threat seriously instead of spending so much time on vacation. Since what happened? The US attacking a sovereign without evidence to support any danger posed by that country? That's not really any different from the US, is it? You'll have to explain how a reactor is evidence of a weapons program and not a nuclear energy program. Few technologies cannot be used for both benevolent and destructive purposes. There's nothing whitewashed about it. You're the one that keeps making claims about history based in imagination rather than fact. Still, the US' misguided foreign policy easily predates Bush (either one). They also pointed to (and based, in part, their authorization for the use of force) to the "fact" that Hussein had WMD.
