Chris, we were on the same load... I was the guy in the wing suit. I'm suspecting the rear door probably stayed open until we were ready to move on our load and the cabin wasn't pressurized at any point on take off/ climb. other loads i suspect that they depressuried at different points or had the rear door closed when they were performing their checks. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

I dont think that there were 7, but 5 or 6. Yes they got another ticket for the jet and had their reserves repacked for free. Yes SSK donated cypres2's to those people to use for the rest of the convention if the person wanted to. Great job on their part! I think Cypres's (probably both 1 and 2s) and vigils were the only AADs on the plane. I haven't seen any FXC at WFFC yet this yr (not that there may be some). Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

it's been mentioned in some of the other threads.. but right now the jet is ONLY approved for WFFC.. so no plans for having it dropping people other times. if you dont jump it there, it may be a little for it to be approved again for jumpers Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

I couldn't find anybody, anywhere, even on the internet, to buy crispis from, or I'd have gotten some. There's one dealer in the US for the paragliding model, and they never called me back. you can also get them here. shipping is free and their customer service is great. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink? -
I know Buried flew a wngsuit out of it Saturday. I think he was the first. Yup. first out on the second pass of load #3. Was quite a sight popping up to mid/mid high part of the tail and hanging there for a few seconds to watch a few groups drop out the back. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

just got back from the convention and the version of the jet is a DC9-21 (if i'm right) and the only one in the US. exit speed is about 140kts. Bill is correct, the Jet was only cleared by the FAA to drop jumpers at WFFC. I can't remember what one FAA guy said but there was something was built in the approval to only to have the tailgate(door) removed off for this week only... which is needed inorder to drop jumpers. all other times the jet needs to have the door on. the 727 did not have this such clause upon approval. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

yup and nate was # 2. I was a little worried at first, but wasn't a problem in the end. actually with 40 people a pass, i was happy i was able to steer away, let people fall past me and open in a LARGE clean space

i was in oahu and kauai about a month ago. Kauai is awesome and would love to have done scuba off the coast. great hikes and beaches there. you can drive the island and see the sights in 2 days (one day the N road and the other day the south coast) waikiki wasn't that great imo since it is very touristy. go the the east coast or the north for some fun (snorkeling/ scuba, kayaking, cliff diving off of islands, jetskiing). there isn't much to be seen on the west coast... the entire drive starting through the center of the island isn't really that long.. maybe 4 hours. Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?
