scott campos will be there with demo suits and first flight courses.. there should be some other birds around some of the time too. if your stats are right (122 jumps) , I doubt he'll, nor anyone will want take you up at this point. 200 jumps which are fairly current is usually the min for anyone. yeah but like most sports there is a buy in cost to it. people can pay 1k$ for clubs in Golfing and then maybe some coaching.. plus can be 100$ just for tee off 18 holes. other things come to mind are boating, jet sking, snow mobiling, skiing, etc all have some form of buy in cost and maintenance. skydiving just seems to be a little higher Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?

there are a few reasons why they dont persue it like others do. If you did a search - in this forum i think- there is a thread about this question 8-12 mths ago. had some interesting input. it basically ranges from social-economic issues and disposiable income... but over all i agree with psipike - you do whatever your friends are doing unless you are that one loner in the group and then go do your own thing or take power over the group and do it together. *edit, it's not just blacks - you can probably add asian, indian, native american, eskimo (), etc. They do exist in the sport just smaller numbers (at least in US). dont feel too bad on that, but there should be a "one weekend price".. or like any three days are $30 - a little more reasonable 4+days is the full fee. now compare wffc's reg and daily rate to Summerfest's. Reg is $40 and their day bands are $20 Where is my fizzy-lifting drink?
