  2. I won't say mine is better b/c I've never jumped at another DZ, but I will tell you why I love it. Number one reason is the people. The people I jump with are my family. I have met some of the most wonderful people I know through my DZ. People who I love and care about and would do anything for. I learned how to skydive with Scott Borghese. I wouldn't have picked anyone else to learn with. Everyone is willing to help out and teach someone with less experience. There are lots of belly flyers, and free flyers, always someone to jump with in whichever discipline. And everyone is just tons of fun to be around. My FAVORITE place to dance is in the clubhouse at my DZ. We have an awesome clubhouse, and I get to put my own music on. Those have been some of the greatest times. Planned party nights and just random week-end nights drinking like crazy and dancing our asses off. Our DZO's are incredible as well. I love them to death. I've had some of the wildest times with Tara. I'll be checking out different DZ's this summer. But Burnaby will ALWAYS be home.
  3. I'll completely agree with RL on this one. The first person that I had that incredible animal attraction to broke my heart. All he had to do was look at me and it would make me weak in the knees. It took serious control just to NOT jump him sometimes. I haven't felt it since him, but I'm sure I'll feel it again. Only time will tell. ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM
  4. I am SO impressed with Bruce Jenner right now. He is like 800 years old and he was workin it on the ice. Especially since his "starting out" video was crap. He was falling all over the place. So, the show idea is pretty dumb, but now I must root for Bruce Jenner!!! Edit: I'm watching it right now (for lack of anything else on TV) ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM
  5. Haha, no I don't look like a Murray (my Grandpa and my uncle do) but technically, I AM the boy in my family. ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM
  6. Well... I was Murray Benjamin until the day I was born. Oops, doctor got that one wrong. So I was named Jennifer Mary. Mary was after my dad's cousin who had passed away years before while on her way to the hospital to have her baby. Her husband was driving and they were hit by another car, and Mary and the baby didn't make it. I know, sad story. But she was a pretty wicked person from the stories I've heard about her. Jenn just went with Mary, and was the most popular name the year I was born. ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM
  7. I did Melbourne to Sydney. (Unscheduled stop) They made us get off the plane, go through security again, and go wait to get back on our plane for three hours. Then Sydney to LA, which was about 15 hours I think. Then 7 hours in LAX after getting and re-checking my bags. Then 4 hours home to TO. That was the longest 29ish hours. (I'd do it again in a heartbeat to go back though) ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM

  9. I really liked Dean Gardens, but most of the decorating would have to go. It has a museum feel to it. But Woodbine Estates is BEAUTIFUL, and it has a lake and a pool too. So I would say Woodbine Estates, it feels more like a home. I'd even settle for the poolhouse... ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM

  15. Drive a standard, love it, would never go back to automatic. It is way better on gas mileage (and I feel like a race car driver ) But, it did take me a while to fully get it. I was also intimidated. One day it just clicks. ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM
