I have about 50 pictures, after reviewing them I am not so sure anybody wants to see them Aaron Long, didn't have a Speedo so his girlfriend hooked him up with a leopard patterned thong, (he had to wear it backwards for obvious reasons) Farrah face was pretty red most of th day, tandems looked really scared with about 10 people running around in speedos and blacksocks and flipflops. Q and Mark had matching neongreen and black Speedos!! It was a little cold flying the King Air in Speedos, but hey I got some freefod out of it. Naked AJ refused to run around in Speedos. After reading these posts, I sense that this event is about the girls?! It is not!!!! I just got a phone call from Bonnie, asking me to show up in my pilots uniform, strip down to my speedos, climb into the King Air and fly a load!! That is so wrong! hmmm great math roy but You are missing one thing, loading time, it takes the king air 13 minutes from take off until touch down, and still we do 20 minute calls , taxi and loading takes time , I guess that youd be able to do 2.5 loads an hour with the dash 8 - 100 (but on the other hand 50 jumpers is pretty conservative, the airplane could probably do up to 65 or so depending on how much stuff you could strip out from the BOW) The cargo door that is on the airplane from the factory comes in and up and would probably require very little modification to be jump useable, Another problem with a Dash 8 would be pilots and training. But Mongo might like the Dash-8 too..... Ingen minns en fegis!

in performance yes the 200 is better, but 100:s are available and kinda finished flying passengers and I think a 100 with 50 jumpers would get to altitude in 10 mins or less.... Ingen minns en fegis!

Dash 8 Q-400 is the model You are looking at, haven't flown that specific tail number yet N417QX cuz we just got that one, our landing speeds are 105-120kts so I think you could jump out of it. Fast, sure we do about 360kts groundspeed with that thing about 5000shp per side. The better jump ship though would the Dash 8 - 100 model,... (we just retired a bunch of them too) Ingen minns en fegis!

I use a Zenitar 15mm lens, under 200 bucks but no automation.... Nice picks. I use ISO 100 f 5.6-8 and shutter at 1/320 or 1/400 depending on the light. Manual focus too of course. Mathias Ingen minns en fegis!
